We went there with my family and had an amazing experience. The service was outstanding! We told the woman who was taking care of us that we had traveled all the way from Chile just to eat there, and she brought us so many extra dishes on top of what we ordered so we could try and enjoy real Mexican food. We loved everything. We will definitely come back someday!

My family choose this restaurant due to the homemade style food. The restaurant does not just offer delicious food but a family atmosphere. The Agua Fresca is sweet and refreshing. The salsas has the right amount of depth in the spice department. The tortillas are made by hand. Each bite offers a burst of flavor. We ate so much, and only stop consuming after we could not eat anymore. No matter what you order you will not regret.

This place is small and sort of hole in the wall. It is not beautiful and it does not need to be. It is very clean inside and that is all we care about. Look or you will miss it.
This is real Mexican food. I have been to Mexico and this is the real deal. The cooks are great, the service is very nice and they speak Spanish and English. They are happy to see you and will give you some great ideas for the their best items–it is the cafe de la olla. But everything is good. It is a must stop.
We got out order to go and ate at a nearby park. We had a great time.
Now, they close around 6 I think so don’t be late.
They have the best enchiladas stuffed with chicken or you can get beef.
We love their omelets and I am very picky about that. I have had their steak omelet as well as their chicken omelet. I was in heaven.
This place is great and it could use more customers. So go there.

WOW!!! I normally always have my phone with me to take pictures for reviews but this time I didn’t and I have to say this food was REAL Mexican food!!! Even the coffee was delicious Every single bite of our plate had scrumptious flavor!! The steak and grilled shrimp plate had bell peppers, onions, and squash. AND fresh homemade corn tortillas!!! Ohhhhhh my goodness!!! This is the place you’ll want to stop by if you’re in the area! I will make sure to post pictures next time I’m in town!

My boyfriend took me to his favorite Mexican breakfast spot in Los Angeles. The servers are super nice and very welcoming. They started us off with free nachos and salsa. We ordered Café de olla, which is made with panela, a type of raw sugar, and cinnamon. It has a unique flavor and is very smooth with milk.
We tried the taco de chicharron verde, with tender stewed pork skin in a mildly spicy green sauce that was very appetizing. His main dish was his favorite, Chilaquiles rojos con carne, which is tortilla chips topped with red sauce, beef, and eggs.
I ordered Menudo, a tripe soup with hominy (large, peeled corn), which I garnished with lime, cilantro, and chopped onions. It’s known as a Mexican hangover cure and was delicious.
We also had Flautas de Papa, with crispy exteriors and smooth mashed potatoes inside, topped with guacamole. The combination of cold and hot, crispy and soft textures made for a rich and flavorful experience that we both loved.
If you want to try Mexican breakfast, you definitely have to check out this place. Heads up, they only accept cash.

Great comida casera! Customer service is good!
The only thing I didn’t like was that the meat in my chilaquiles was more pellejo (skin) que carne itself. The meat was difficult to chew. Other than that, the chips and salsa were good (the salsa was super tasty), chilaquiles were good in flavor and the aguas frescas estaban buenas.

El Huarachito in Lincoln Heights. Food and service was great. I had the machaca. Hand made tortillas. Tasted my nieces mole/chicken. Loved it. Great salsas and chips. Had Jamaica agua fresca but a bit sweet. I watered it down. Parking available to the left of the building in the back. Recommended the restaurant to family and friends. Give it a try.

Best chilaquiles in Los Angeles? Who knows? But certainly the best I’ve had. I got the chicken with the green sauce, as I have always got the red sauce for, and they were as good in green eyes as in red. I always think I’m going to get something else when I come here because there’s so many great choices. But chilaquiles I must get because this place has ruined me for those offered by others, sort of like flying in first class ruins you for coach, or so I’ve heard. Side note! I do not remember how good their jalapenos were and are: outstanding . Side note to self: you are not as young as you used to be so you only need a half order, as difficult as it is to stop, bear in mind that they have yet to open a nap room here.
