Ordered the mole, enchiladas, and jicama salad, all of which was extremely disappointing. The meat was drier than shoe leather. Everything tasted bland and boring. I would go somewhere else for food.

Stopped by El Huarache Loco for dinner and enjoyed it. It’s a bright, casual spot with a chill vibe and friendly staff—perfect for a laid-back meal. The margarita was simple and refreshing—not too sweet, nice lime flavor, and just strong enough. Great pairing with the food.

Ordered delivery for lunch and was happily surprised at how flavorful the food was and how hearty the portions were. Posole for my husband, burrito for me, and a side of al pastor to try. So good. Will definitely swing by and eat in the future.

What a disappointment!! We had come to this restaurant for lunch a couple of years ago and thought it was very good. When we came back today, the food was dreadful. It’s also expensive, but we wouldn’t have minded the cost if the quality was reasonable. Our “chicken enchiladas” consisted of some bland cheese wrapped in tortillas with strips of hard, dried out chicken laid across the top. Both the mole sauce and the salsa verde were flavorless and the dishes were just lukewarm. We couldn’t figure out why the food was not at least hot, since the restaurant was fairly empty and had just opened for the day. If this is typical of their food, it’s surprising they can stay in business in this area, where people know and appreciate good Mexican cuisine.

Went with group of friends. I ordered Huarache con Alambre. Was tasty and good portion size. The only reason i gave 4 stars was because it’s a bit pricy. Great atmosphere and beautiful presentation.

Authentic Mexican flavors and dishes in a nice, spacious, clean setting. Really liked the huaraches, which you don’t see on too many menus. The serving size is substantial, and you can pile on more tasty salsa at your table if you like. Solid spot for great Mexican food!

This place is not authentic Mexican food — not even authentic Mexican-American food. It’s so watered down that the only genuinely Mexican thing about it is the people in the kitchen.
I ordered a gordita, something I’ve enjoyed countless times in Mexico City, and what I received was so far from the real thing that I had to send a picture to my mother out of sheer disbelief. It might as well have been called a sope or a flaquita — anything but a gordita.
The flavors are flat, the tacos lack any depth or seasoning, and there isn’t even a proper serving of refried beans anywhere in sight. Everything tastes like it was designed for people who want to say they’ve had Mexican food without actually experiencing it.
It’s painfully clear this place caters to a crowd that values aesthetics over authenticity — people who want something “ethnic” enough to post about but mild enough not to challenge their palate.
If you genuinely believe this food is authentic, you might want to reevaluate what authenticity means to you.

Great place to eat and have a snack or a full meal. We ordered nachos with guacamole and quesadillas, both delicious and well balanced flavors. The staff is actually latino and nice 🙂 the outside tables are very large and inside they play good music. The service was quick and efficient. Only little tiny complain is that not every table is always clean, which is why I gave a 4 stars to the atmosphere and not 5, everything else is great though. Wonderful, would recommend! Byeeee

Came in with my coworker of course he’d already been here the service was impeccable and I even felt the woman owned atmosphere we were thirsty and yes I’ve learned throughout my year to not ask about the heat in the salsa it’s all spicy! The watermelon margarita was to die for…I wiped the salt off the rim and kind of gulped it

This place has gone seriously downhill. The last two visits have been an awful experience. The tables are dirty and staff seemed annoyed when asked to wipe our table. We ordered tacos which took over 30 minutes. We were almost late to an event. The tacos are simply terrible. Sad to see the decline.
