It all started in the year of 1997 when Efrain Brambila Sr and his wife Anastasia Brambila decided to open their first Taco Truck located at the Westwood Mall parking lot. Always striving to make the food as authentic and good as possible. With big dreams ahead of them, it was time for the next step, a very much requested restaurant. With the help of their kids, Efrain Ir. Daniel & Germani Brambila, t y opened their first restaur in 2001. Located at 123 Jefferson Ave. Time passed., family grew, and it familestaurant was time to open a 2nd restaurant. In September of 2009 El Herradero Restaurant opened it’s doors at 445 North Arthur in Old town. Now El Herradero has 2 restaurants and 2 Taco Truck in Pocatello for your convenience.

Outstanding! We’re visiting from Vegas and this is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I chose the birria tacos ala cart. My husband had chili verde burrito. Fresh, bold flavors. The green salsa could be sold on its own. Service was so friendly and the small-town prices make this so affordable. Can’t wait to come back!

El Herradero is a Pocatello staple. They have always had some of the best Mexican food in SE Idaho. Just about anything you order from here will be top notch. Their spicy pork and carnitas tacos are amazing, I get them just about every time I go! I also love their spicy pork torta and their quesabirria. I have never had them mess up my order or anything for as long as I can remember which cannot be said for a lot of places you can get takeout from. Overall, their food and service is top tier.

Great service and a very clean, nice place to eat. Today I tried the quesabirrias and they were the best in all of Pocatello seriously so good. The food is always fresh, parking is easy with lots of space, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I usually get tacos here and I love them. Tonight I got the Chile Verdi burrito to go. It was tasty and nice portion sizes. I will most likely have some for leftovers. The pork chunks are a nice size and the green sauce is just spicy enough. They gave me extra if I wanted to put more on it. PS. I also like getting their horchata which is mildly flavored and sweet.
