The restaurant was clean, quiet and comfortable. We ordered chilaquiles rojos with scrambled eggs, cafe de olla, agua de jamaica, huevos al albañil. The food was good. The jamaica was a bit too sweet so we asked for a glass of water to fix it. Service was strange. The waitress seemed not to hear or understand my questions even though I was speaking in Spanish. She didn’t smile or offered anything. We had to ask for things needed. Service needs to improve.

This place is a gem. Authentic. There was alot of us they didnt have a big staff. But it was fire!!!. We did get chips and salsa the pozole blanco fire. The tacos Dorado fire very impress love this place. Def recommend it

Worst place ever. No customer service at entry. The order was wrong. No chips and salsa. Empty Salsa bottles. Probably the worst Customer service ive ever experienced. Didn’t apologize for the wrong order or try to make it right. They didnt even bother to check up on us while we ate. Pozole was trash.

I absolutely love this place. Classic food from East LA. I order the Tortas Ahogadas every time. Get them mild, medium, or hot. I like heat, so I order them as hot as they make them, and they are so satisfying. IMO, the magic is in the chili and the amazing bread they use. Clean. Humble atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

what an absolute train wreck. i went for the special but they refused to give it to me since we were “late”. never was there a time limit to the special and they refused to honor it. someone needs to explain that it’s not worth fighting with a new customer. it kills retention. the food was bad. meat was badly breaded, pounded down to hell and the amount of food for $12 is laughable. you be the judge of it.

I got a torta ahogada meal or combo whatever u want to call it. It comes with a taco dorado ur choice of beans or potato N a can soda. It was nice n toasted the torta n taco too also nice n hot. Salsa was delicious i would recommend it great spot at anytime.
