Best carne asada in Tucson!
If you’re new to Sonoran cuisine , a couple of must have are a caramelo with steak and a Sonoran hot dog with everything.
The grilled onions by the salsa bar are the perfect complement to the steak.
Make sure to ask for a Mexican Coke. It’s made with cane sugar and comes in glass. It’s so good!
There is also a meat market inside.

Great self serve restaurant. I guess I am not a fan of the Sonoran hotdogs, but definitely worth a try if you not had one before.
Many if their items are wrapped in bacon. The prices were great.

Stick to the hot dogs they are really good! The tacos de asada were okay but not the best. They have plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs with a nice salsa bar that also included roasted chiles and even mushrooms.

Great place for a quick lunch. Not your typical place with chips and salsa served on the table and a huge menu but great salsa bar for your meal. The Carne Asada Burrito is awesome. The roasted jalapeños and onions are great with your meal.

Supposedly their hot dogs are famous, so I decided to try it, especially since they’ve gotten rave reviews from other family members, but my experience with the food was quite disappointing. The hotdog that I ordered tasted like a package out of an Oscar Meyer wiener pack. The bread was soggy and tasted like out of a supermarket bag. Great customer service very friendly and quick, but I was disappointed with the food.

We used to love this place when we lived here, so while visiting Arizona we made a special trip from Phoenix specifically for a Sonoran hot dog. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our past visits.
I placed the order through the mobile app and was given a ready time, but when I went inside, the staff initially could not find my order and seemed unaware of it. After locating it, the food was clearly rushed.
When we opened the order, my daughter’s hot dog was incorrect. It was missing the cheese we requested and included tomatoes that were not supposed to be on it. My hot dog had the advertised toppings, but the avocado was very poorly prepared and there was even a piece of peel left in the box. Neither of the sandwich buns were toasted as requested.
After going out of our way to come here, this was very disappointing. I hope this was just an off day, but the ordering and quality issues were frustrating.

Loved this Sonoran hot dog! James Beard Award winner for solid, flavorful and very well garnished dogs here! So fluffy was the bun, firm yet soft bun.

Went thru drive ask for jalapeños girl was was very rude and I had to park and take off my three year-old twins. That’s the reason I went through the drive-through and they couldn’t give me jalapeños through the window

Sometimes all you need is some Guero. So nice sometimes to stop by to get some real good Sonoran style food. Always hits that spot where you can eat a delicious hot dog. Used to come here a lot when I was younger. It’s always nostalgic to come by again.
