Been driving past this place for years and so glad we finally stopped in for an early dinner. The menu was larger than we had expected – which is always a good thing – and usually means it has something for everyone. Service was spot on, and the music / vibe was just right. Put it all together and it turned out to be a great dining experience. So, if you’re ever on Pacific Hwy W (99W) just past downtown Tigard and feel like Mexican food, give this place a try.
And, as a reminder, don’t forget to support local and small businesses in your area!

Awesome food. The rice especially was fantastic. My mole enchiladas had a rich depth of flavor and my father’s Molcajete was amazing. My Cadillac Margarita was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. In the words of my daughter “I give it 5 stars. I like the music and I like the decorations and I loved my food.”

Oh my goodness—the food was absolutely amazing! The rice was so flavorful and unforgettable from the very first bite. The pineapple shrimp was also delicious, packed with bold, rich flavors. Everything tasted perfectly cooked. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I LOVE their cocktail de camaron and if you’re adventurous you’ll definitely love La Campechana with an oyster on top it is packed with flavor so good, you don’t need to add any thing else. Absolutely delicious!!! Always my go to and I’ll continue to come back.

Save your money… taco pastor meal was terrible! To start with you can’t order Pastor tacos individually like the other tacos they sell you have to order it as a meal and the rice and beans you get with it are probably the worst I’ve ever had rice had a terrible aftertaste, and the beans were super bland, the pastor tacos were super tough a pale, disappointing, soggy corn tortilla.
The Carne Asada plate was just as bad. The beef was cut dinner then I’ve ever seen and overcooked to the point that it was pretty much leather. I Would say it looked like beef jerky, but that would be an insult to beef jerky. The waitress was super nice, that was about it..

Small Mexican restaurant with great food! I had the Pollo Diabla, it wasn’t as spicy as I was hoping for, but it had a decent amount of heat, so I was pleasantly surprised. Would totally go again and recommend others to try it out as well.

My family and I love this sit down restaurant. Magdalena is one of the best servers here who is friendly, on top of our needs and has even remembered some of our favorite dishes we order. The shrimp soup is delicious, the grilled chicken is addictive and much more. We have came here the last 6 years and will continue to come here. We have been real lucky to have this restaurant close to where we live. If we ever move I know we’ll still make the commute to enjoy the food, service and ambiance of this place.

I’m honestly baffled. We ordered “fajitas for two” for $23 and were served what can only be described as a very modest appetizer pretending to be dinner. The portion was less than half of what every other Mexican restaurant in the area serves for the same dish — and at a higher price.
Quality aside, the value just isn’t there. When a dish is advertised for two people, it should feed two people. This didn’t even come close. If you’re hungry and expecting a proper meal, this isn’t it. Major disappointment.

Amazing food! This place has the best Chili Colorado I have had in 20 years. I have been searching for good, rich, dark red Chili Colorado and finally found it! Their chips and salsa were excellent and the Margarita was really good, too. I went on a weeknight and it was not crowded at all. Hope they get bust and stay around a while.
Returned on October 12, 2020 and it’s still as good as ever!!! Added more photos.
Came in Feb 2021 and they have been doing well during Covid and their food is as good as ever.
