First time trying this spot aiming for a good birria pizza! Was not expecting it to be the absolute best birria i’ve ever tasted! So tender and flavorful. Also got a side of rice which was really good too. Will be back again!!!

I went in the afternoon and ordered the shrimp taco platter. The shrimp was seasoned well. The rice was also very good. We didnt have to wait long as well.

So disappointed. We order food a lot from this place. The pork taco was fine but not any better than El Mariachi in Voorhees. We go here cause it’s much closer. I picked up a milkshake and tried their tiramisu which I pointed on the dessert stand. Got home to find out I got half the size so I called and the older lady who barely speak English rudely dismissed my concern. I drove back there to show what they gave me vs. what I asked for and they said it’s the same price but the one on counter was newer one. So not only did they give me an older tiramisu but charged me $6 for half the size. Never going back. I’ll drive to El Mariachi where I never had issue and have better customer service.

Beautiful place. The food was ok. We ordered the birria tacos and it was delicious. The rice was a little bland but overall the meal was good.

Me and my husband were so happy to have found this place. The interior is super colorful and bright, and we loved the music they played. We ordered the Limonada (very good! Sweet, and the lime wasn’t bitter) and the Strawberry Banana Batido (amazing, exactly how a batido should be!!). Table comes with complimentary chips and salsas, which was good. Then I had the Al Pastor burrito especial while my husband had the steak gorditos. The meat is seasoned very well! Both dishes were really good, I’m so excited to have found a great Mexican restaurant in this area. Will definitely be back again!

As a Mexican-American chef, I’ve never been more disappointed in a restaurant’s pricing, portions, and execution. The portions are shockingly small for the cost—$10+ guacamole yields less than two cups, a $4 rice container was barely a third full, and they even charged $1 for two extra slices of lime. Every dish is overpriced for what little you get.
The quality is just as bad. The guacamole was grainy and flavorless. My shrimp tacos arrived nearly empty and missing key ingredients. To make matters worse, the food was already cold at pickup, meaning it was never served at the right temperature. On top of that, they forgot a paid-for drink, which isn’t the first time they’ve left items out.
We spent $85 expecting a quality meal and instead got tiny portions of bland, overpriced food. The only thing worth ordering is the birria pizza—everything else is a waste of money.
While I truly enjoy supporting local businesses, especially those that share my heritage, El Guajillo #3 has consistently produced food lacking in quantity, quality, and flavor.

• Service is painfully slow — only two servers for about 15 tables.
• They automatically add an 18% service charge to all tables, even parties of three, and still expect an additional tip.
• DoorDash and Grubhub orders are clearly prioritized over in-house guests because they want better ratings. In-house customers wait while they fulfill takeout orders – as per our server.
Our food took over 45 minutes to arrive, and one item was missing. That took another 15 minutes to fix. Dine-in customers are clearly not a priority here.
There was no apology for the delay, the missing food, or the poor service overall. No accountability.
Plenty of great Mexican restaurants nearby actually value their guests — I’d much rather give them my business.

Food was excellent, as well as presentation. I also enjoyed the overall vibe inside the restaurant. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in New Jersey. Service was a little slow, but I’m not really the type to be in a rush, so that wasn’t a huge deal. Overall great experience with good food and very calm atmosphere

Extremely beautiful on the inside. Al pastor tacos extremely juicy and flavorful… Their horchata was perfect in flavor!! Would definitely recommend coming here for lunch or even dinner!!

This location has been a revolving door of restaurants for many years. I hope & pray this time they’re here for good. Food is excellent, the time it takes for them to prepare the food is very fast, they are always very pleasant and helpful, price seems right. So happy to have a good Mexican restaurant around here!! (They also do some Italian but I haven’t had that)
