If I could give this place six stars I would – especially for the service. She was amazing – so fun, thoughtful, spunky and informative. She made the best guacamole I have had to date at our table. The elotes was top notch. Baja tacos and steak fajitas amazing. They even brewed a fresh pot of coffee to accompany our churros and ice cream with caramel sauce. Such a great meal. Can’t wait to go back.

We have come to this establishment on and off for years. They moved from next door, the atmosphere is casual but the food and wait staff escalate it to a MICHELIN star restaurant. Our server, Amanda, was upbeat, educated, and catering to all our needs with a smile. This food was even kid approved! This by far is the best Mexican cuisine ever! If you don’t try it you’re missing out on a total experience.

Absolutely wonderful meal. Mahi Mahi tacos, steak burrito, El molcajete, crab bisque and chicken soup were all excellent. Super attentive server too. First time trying this place and we were not disappointed.

I must begin by stating that our server was excellent! Very kind and professional. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond her control, our dinner with visiting friends from England was a disaster. It all began when two of our guests ordered coffee as their beverage. They first received a cup and saucer after a 20-minute delay. It was an additional 15 minutes before the coffee arrived at the table. We were informed that the coffee pot was being cleaned. I must state that we have had many satisfying meals at this establishment. This is why we chose to dine at El Guacamole after touring the galleries this evening. There were two small parties, a few couples, and a few take-out orders prepared while we were present. By no means did we expect to wait more than an hour to receive our meals. The meals for our party of six consisted of quesadillas, burritos, and a salad. I was fortunate enough to receive a very pleasing meal, but unfortunately, the remainder of the party was left disappointed. Most items were just moderately warm to the touch, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. The vegetarian quesadilla was inedible and was removed from the bill. It was ordered with only cheese and peppers. After the one hour wait, it was brought to the table, then taken away to correct a mistake, we were told. When it returned, it was soggy and cold and contained a miniscule amount of peppers. I do not understand how a quesadilla, which is made to order and literally takes minutes to prepare, would come to the table cold. In all, it was a disappointing ending to a very good night.

The service was excellent, food tasted great. I just didn’t get the hypocrisy of no hard shell tacos, but then served French fries with stuff, and I’ve never been to a Mexican rest that doesn’t serve rice and or beans with their meals. You gotta pay extra for that. Other than that, the place was great.

Very good Mexican food in a casual atmosphere. Service was friendly and timely. Prices were reasonable. I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos. Nicely presented and tasty. The serving size was more than I could eat in one sitting, so I had enough for lunch the next day. This is a great little mom & Pop place. Give them a try!

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo a day early to avoid crowds, and this popular restaurant in downtown Millville, NJ still had quite a few people. We dined on the burrito, sope, and taco platter as well as the El Guacamole “special” — fajitas with chicken, steak, and shrimp. A few items on the platter were a little bland, but the fajitas were delicious. El Guacamole is in a new location on High Street and is bright and cheerful; the service was fantastic as well. If you’re looking for margaritas, bring your own. El Guacamole is BYOB, which is a big “plus” for us!
