This place is incredible! Best mexican I’ve had all across Nashville. I ordered the #27 – Enchiladas. Big portions, fresh salsa, lots of spice and medium heat on most things. The beans and rice are legit. Guac totally rocks!. Want some good mexican? Go here! Unfortunately no table service or alcohol.

I ordered the carne asada tacos with rice, and wow, the flavor was unreal. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right. The rice was fresh and paired perfectly with everything. But the real star? The green salsa. Absolutely to die for. It had the perfect kick and so much flavor, I could’ve put it on everything. We also tried the carne asada fries and they were hands down the best I’ve had, loaded, flavorful, and not soggy at all. On top of the amazing food, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the prices were more than reasonable for the quality and portions. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food, this place does not disappoint.❤️

This food was so delicious and very authentic! We were on a road trip and passing through town when we stopped here. I had tacos (chorizo, pollo, and asada) and they were all so good. The steak was my favorite! The verde sauce was also delicious and great on the tacos. My husband had a chorizo quesadilla, which was also very good. Highly recommend! Service was great.

Can be hit or miss but when it hits, it HITS. Rice and beans are very good, and the street tacos are our favorite. The beautiful painting on the walls adds to the atmosphere. Worth the drive out there. Service can be a bit slow but you get a lot of value for the money.

As someone who grew up 20 minutes north of Tijuana, I have struggled the past four years trying to find quality, authentic Mexican food. This place is my safe haven here and the drive thru is the cherry on top. Their quesobirria tacos are to die for. The Ceviche also did not disappoint. Portions are generous and quality is consistent

Great little spot for authentic mexican food! We visit this place often and the food rarely disappoints. The people are friendly and the food is made to order so it is fresh. A little bit of a wait at times but its worth it. I have tried almost everything on their menu and the only small negative thing I could say is that sometimes their chips for nachos are a stale. Again..not a deal breaker as there are plenty of choices! We will continue to visit this place!

El Grullense Taqueria in Hendersonville is a must-visit spot if you’re craving delicious Mexican food. This was my second time eating here, and both experiences were excellent. The first time, I opted for the drive-through and grabbed some tacos, which were absolutely delicious. They really hit the spot, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that stood out.
This time, I decided to sit on their outdoor deck. There were plenty of seats available, which made for a nice, relaxed dining experience. It’s worth noting that El Grullense doesn’t offer table service, so you’ll need to order at the window. Despite that, the setup worked well, and it was easy to settle in and enjoy the surroundings while waiting for the food.
Once again, the food was fantastic. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, just like the first visit. The staff was also friendly and welcoming both times, adding to the overall great experience.
If you’re in Hendersonville and looking for great Mexican food, I highly recommend giving El Grullense Taqueria a try, whether you’re grabbing a quick meal on the go or sitting down to enjoy your food. You won’t be disappointed!

It’s easy to overlook this tiny place. Ordering options are a walk-up window or drive through. There are three tables out front. Don’t let the size fool you – the food is fantastic. We only stopped because we wanted a quick bite to eat, but ended up coming back several times during our stay in Nashville.

Great side of the road stop. Not quite a taco truck, not quite a restaurant but nothing disappoints! They have a bit of everything, even a kids menu. We did asada tacos, an asada burrito (it’s huge), side of rice and beans (we shared them and didn’t finish them) and a side chips with guacamole. Try the pineapple aqua Fresca, delicious! If you haven’t been don’t sleep on this spot.

It pains me to leave a review on a place I frequent on occasion but the quality of the food was not up to par and the resolution provided was still not correct. I’ve never experienced shredded cheese on authentic nachos and when I brought it back to their attention it was still incorrect and heartbreaking to spend over $15 on lunch and it’s unsatisfying
