A friend from work told me about this spot, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I mainly went for the desserts, but while I was there, I figured I might as well try the food too. I ended up ordering the chicken kabob meal along with a Greek salad and a cheesecake. Both were delicious! I was really happy with my choices, and unlike many places, they don’t skimp on dessert portions just to make it look appealing. You get a generous slice. That being said, I will definitely go back and try something different on the menu. They got my attention. It was given a real diner type vibe. I could respect it.

Come here often, service is not good but im not the type complain over small things, but every time they serve coffee they never ask again if you want more and never stop by your table and its every time not just an incident. Today the lady tried bringing us old coffee from another table someone left. Then we waited 37min for our food that never arrived. We paid the coffee and left after we explained, all we got was ‘oh ok, have a nice day’. Were never coming back.

EXTREMELY rude to my party of 8 and wanted to be argumentative. I will never spend my money where I’m not welcomed in the door. It’s busy on a Sunday and can be very tight at the door, but no reason to be rude and yell “go eat at another restaurant then!” From the owner….whom didn’t take the time to address the table count mix up properly. Black people are not respected here, but they welcome our money. Stop allowing these people to remain in our community and be aggressive and we still support. Time for them to go if we are not welcomed. Better off going to Mykonos!!! Never busy and always pleasant!!

We’ve been going to El Grecos for years. Great food, service, atmosphere. Friendly staff and amazing owners!! Miss some of my favorite entrees that are no longer on the menu. Hope they will come back on the menu some day. Like Chicken Francaise, Stuffed salmon, the Thursday night special that was like a pot roast with veggies and potatoes.

Ordered chicken and waffles this morning right after 7am . The chicken is just as bland as it appears but the waffle is great. There was also 3 pieces of bacon with my order that were cold and that confused me because all other food was hot and the restaurant just opened. Im not sure about customer service because my friend went in to the restaurant but i would not recommend getting chicken with the waffle.

The food was average and earned both of the stars. The price was too high for the quality of food. The service however was the worst. The server was rude and unhelpful. She acted like the customers were idiots. The staff argued in front of the customers, overall negative environment. If you have a big family don’t go to this “family restaurant” because they are not accepting parties over six.

The customer service here is horrible! I called to place an order for a family who just recently lost a loved one. I am an out of town guest and I was to pay for the food and a family member who lives in the city was going to go pick it up. The lady who answered the phone gave me such a hard time When trying to place the order. She said because I was a first time customer and my phone number was not on their file, I had to come in the store and place my order. They will not let me place the order or pay for the order over the phone. She told me I had to have a number on file, so I then gave her one of the family members numbers that I know is on file, and she told me that it was not on file so she would not take my order. I then asked the family member to call because their number was on file and I would just pay for it. When the family member called, she did recognize the number even though previously she told me that she didn’t and then she proceeded to tell the family member that they had to come in store And that she would not accept payment or taking the order over the phone. She would not let us know why which made things extremely inconvenient and I just feel that the worker did not want to take the order. Anyway, we found another restaurant to order from a restaurant that was more pleasant and OK with accepting our money. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. I live in Madison Wisconsin, and I will let family and friends know to steer clear from this restaurant. They have no compassion and they are extremely rude. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

My family and I have been coming here for years. First time back in here in a while since moving, but we came to celebrate Christmas with a family friend. They wouldn’t seat us until our whole party was there (four of us were there waiting for ONE person), and there were many many tables open.
We were talking amongst ourselves (probably louder than we should have—but we were annoyed), and the manager LOUDLY asked if there was a problem in front of everyone and started arguing with us.
Like I said, we’ve been coming here forever. Please get better staff, especially your manager if this is how they handle situations with conflict. We are very friendly and respectful people and did nothing to be talked to like this. It was rude, embarrassing, and a total turnoff. We will never be back.
