You have to walk through a grocery store to get to it.
Definitely a hidden gem. The chips could have been fresher but, the salsa is fantastic. Not too hot. You can get spicy if you want it. We had a salad, a burrito, and some food for the kids. Everything was delicious and the price was fair.

Beautiful Heart
This is my initial experience dining at this place, and it will be my final one. I used doordash to order food, but unfortunately, all of the meat was overcooked. When I finished work, I returned the food to have it remade but faced difficulties. The staff was reluctant to remake my order, and upon its return, the vegetables were still uncooked. They simply chopped them up and placed them on my plate. Furthermore, they refused to cook the vegetables and added queso fresco to the dish. If you use doordash and your order is incorrect, this is the kind of inconvenience you may encounter. Next, they serve me cheese dip and claim it’s complimentary, even though it’s not the dish I requested. We will continue to exchange until my order is accurate. Their primary interest is in our money, yet the level of customer service they provide to us is subpar. Wish I could give them no stars.

If I could leave a -1000 stars I would. This establishment should be shut down. The tequila and drinks are so “authentic” that they allowed a patron to over drink. The patron left this establishment and caused a fatal accident. The fatal accident was my loved one. CLOSE THIS PLACE NOW! They don’t abide by state laws and should no longer be patronized. Instead SHUTDOWN! They allowed someone to drink past intoxication and our family suffers forever.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff are pleasant and Spanish speaking, so it makes me feel being in Mexico. It allows me to practice my Spanish.,The food is always delicious. Brought my friends from Indiana and they enjoy the authentic food. The Molcajete is great for meat lovers. The vegetable fajita was well seasoned and delicious. My husband enjoyed the enchilada loca. I found out that they have birria tacos which was not in the menu, it was sabroso! Missed the chance to take a picture because I got excited when it came. Will definitely order it again. ;0)

Dined in and tend to ignore ‘Door Dash’ reviews. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly, though to be honest English is not the first language spoken there but still my very bad Spanish and their English made ordering less a chore and more a fun game. Be warned both the red and green sauce has kick. The only downside is it can be a bit loud; the jukebox and the TV compete, some want the Telenovelas, some want the Jukebox. This is a locally owned and run place that deserves a visit.

I had the pleasure of dining at [ el granero restaurant ] recently, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch.
A special shoutout to [Waitress Brenda] and [Waitress Aracely], who went above and beyond to make our meal even more enjoyable. They are incredibly attentive and made sure our drinks were always refilled, had the best recommendations and made us feel right at home with their friendly attitude. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality truly stood out.
If you’re looking for a great place to eat with outstanding service, I highly recommend El Granero restaurant in Rex ! I’ll definitely be coming back.
