Easily the whole family’s favorite restaurant! Food is always delicious and service always great. Prices are very fair. We always swing through the market after dinner, too. Can’t say enough good about El Gran Valle Verde !

We started with the chips and salsa, and right away the orange salsa caught my attention. I still don’t know exactly what it is, but it’s a delicious twist compared to the usual red salsa most places have. Solid 8/10.
I ordered the Quesabirria, and the portion size did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful, and the birria itself was great. My only complaint was the cheese — one taco had a ton, and the other barely had any, so it felt a little inconsistent. Still, flavor-wise? 8/10.

I went a bit off the usual path and ordered the seafood pasta — and honestly, this dish is a hidden gem. The seafood flavor is strong (in a good way), the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the mix of crab, shrimp, and clams was generous. If you pace yourself right, you’ll get shrimp in every bite.
The portion could easily feed two people, and the side of bread was surprisingly delicious. I just wish the sauce was a bit creamier, and a sprinkle of Parmesan on top would’ve taken it from great to perfect. 8.5/10.
P.S. The drinks? Let’s just say they’re made with extra love. You’ll feel it.
Overall: 8.5/10 — definitely worth a visit.

First time eating here. I’m from Fairfield originally, but currently been living in Spain for the last 9 1/2 years. I retired from the Navy. I came back to help take care of my mom who was hospitalized. Been eating some of my local favorites while visiting. Anyhow, back to this place. Ordered the Quesabirria tacos with rice and beans. Absolutely enjoyed it. Truely authentic. Will be returning while here and will eat here everytime I visit.

This is my family’s go-to for great tacos at a great price. The other food is amazing too but you know when that taco craving hits nothing else fills the void. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, the music and atmosphere is warm and inviting. The supermarket attached is also awesome and worth a visit. We can’t eat here without stopping at the store for some sweets. We have been patrons for years and will continue for as long as we live in Hamilton.
