They start you off with a crawl fish (shrimp) soup. It was spicy but delicious.
The drinks pertain to what dish will be brought out to you. There are a great number of drinks to choose from. From sodas to beer to hard liquid.
This concept I’ve seen in the coastal states in Mexico like Colima and Nayarit. I felt transported with its food and atmosphere. On Friday’s the have a 14-piece banda that provides the live environment at 8pm.
The owner is a friendly host who will come to your table to make sure you are taken care of.
The food is as authentic as the coastal Mexican you will find in Fresno.
Give a chance, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Paid orders include fried whole fish (a fish called Mojarra in Mexico), shrimp ceviche, and something else I can’t recall.
Pretty authentic, and It makes me think of my parents hometown and state in Mexico. I only wish it was as delicious and varied as it is out there, although still good. Some aguachiles even as a paid order would be VERY welcome in my book, as they’re not offered here!
Bottom line: if you’re looking to drink at a Mexican/Nayarita style bar with some seafood snacks and some ambiance to go along with it, come here. Just leave the whooping and yelping at home, cause they’ll kick you out lol it’s a “family friendly” place. Children ARE allowed. Take that as you will.
The place is really nice and clean. Service was awesome. And the food was amazing.
Try the camarones al godinazo and cold pacifico.
Definitely worth making a trip back to fresno just to eat.
