Lovely little restaurant, very down to earth and relaxed feel. Staff were very friendly and food very tasty. We had a couple of tapas to start and then the mixed paella which we loved! Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

Nice, friendly and polite staff and really nice atmosphere.
The food was nothing special. The menu is quite large, but overall the options are very simple and rather basic when it comes to vegan choices (e.g. edamame or patatas bravas, which came with a nice sauce but were not cooked properly).
I don’t think I would come back.

My first stop and meal in Malaga. Not too far from where I’m staying and just down the street from where I have a bike tour soon. They brought bread and olives, which were very fresh and tasty.
I ordered some tapas. They have 3 sizes: tapa, media & entera). Since I’m solo on this portion I ordered the media grilled baby squids and tapa grilled red tuna. Both had great presentation and were prepared well.
Would’ve been 5 stars for overall experience as they’re patient and provided great service if not for a slight fishiness to the tuna. It was prepared well and has a slight smokiness, but being used to Hawaii seafood I’m probably more sensitive to those things than most.
I was hoping to order the seafood paella, but it’s a minimum of 2 orders. Bummer and not as it gives me a reason to come back with others.

We had the best paella here, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were incredible, and everything tasted so fresh. The team was super warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place, we’ll definitely come back!

We visited El Gastronauta in Málaga and had an amazing tapas experience. We tried the prawns pil-pil, eggplant with goat cheese, Red Tuna steak, cheese with olive oil, and chicken croquettes – everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Of course, we also enjoyed a perfectly chilled sangria, which was the perfect match for the meal. The service was very friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great tapas in Málaga!

A lovely restaurant where the food is good and the service and staff even better. So friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Shame they can’t add tips to card transactions, as no one carries cash anymore and we couldn’t tip the staff. Would recommend.
