I really like the food here. They didn’t have one of the toppings for the food but the food was so good it didn’t matter. The waitresses were very nice. This is a nice place. If I live close to here I would come here often.

I’ve never left a bad review anywhere until now. The last time we were there the service was slower than usual. Maybe new ownership?
Today (2/20/26) was the worst. We waited an hour for our food of which was lukewarm at best. The restaurant was only a little more than half full, so no reason for the cold food taking so long. We had to ask for a bottle of hot sauce because there was none on the tables.
We will NOT eat there anymore.

Disgusting, everything is old and watery, this place is a waste of time and money. There is no seasoning, everything tastes like it came out of a can. We spoke to the manager saying we were unsatisfied with the food, saying that it’s not worth is very low quality, and he just kept trying to argue that his food is great and did not want to offer any solution.

My Friend and I ate there yesterday (11/23) and we could tell that the waiter was new so we gave him the benefit of the doubt when he forgot what kind of drink I had, and then forgot the flavor, then forgot if i wanted it on ice or frozen. My friend and I ordered and they brought our food and immediately I saw a long hair in the food. Not on top on it but in it. We brought it to the waiters attention and they apologized and offered to remake it so i asked for something else, and after we ate like an hour later mt stomach started to hurt. Long story short I got food poisoning from something from there, and I know that because that was the only thing I ate yesterday so I just urge people to be careful of eating there.

Really great, the food has alot of flavor and nearly 5 stars except the vegetarian food happens to be grilled next to the steak so there’s some cross contamination. The service was okay, we’d try it again if we came back in the area.

First time here. It’s a fairly new restaurant at this little strip mall near Flatwoods, KY. Wife had three different types of veggie enchiladas. I got the burrito Mexicano which was stuffed with grilled pork and veggies. If you’re on I-79 in West Virginia hit it on exit 67. It was excellent food.

There are no prices on the menu and if you scan the code for the digital me up there are prices but surprise! When you go to pay those prices were wrong and they are actually higher!
Second, two of our orders were just completely wrong (even after the server checked to see what we had ordered) and to boot the beef was some odd cubed beef that I do not expect in Mexican food.
Third, the t-bone steak my son got was undercooked and chewy.

Although the tastes of the food were slightly off from various other Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at, have to say that this place is a great find in West Virginia. Service was quick and attentive, although if the place has a decent number of customers, it can have a chaotic feel to it. Food was decent.
If you’ve got the time when visiting the area or need a rest from I-79, this one’s a good consideration.

Best Mexican restaurant in West Virginia, and I’ve tried many. Chips were fresh + hot and the salsa was the BEST I have ever had anywhere. *Highly* recommend the California Burrito (cheese lovers) or the new Jumbo Burrito (sweet + spicy) —phenomenal. These guys season their meat and veggies—they don’t skimp. *Incredible* flavor. Amazing service, food was out in <5 minutes (how did something SO delicious + hot come out SO fast?!), we were asked multiple times if we wanted more drinks or chips (which we declined because of the MASSIVE burritos), clean restaurant; all around PERFECTION. My husband: “Can we give them 10 stars??”
Update: Today we returned exactly a year from our last visit, but now not having my taste from lasting effects of c*vd. (Still recovering taste 7 months later) I was afraid to come because I didn’t want my memories affected by my new weird sense of taste….some things don’t taste pleasant anymore. But y’all. It was still the exact same incredible experience — their flavoring is TRULY a winner. It was even busier than when we last came and it was still as fast. Amazing! Still our favorite salsa too, after a year of trying others.
