Tried Something New… and WOW.
We always end up going to the same spot for Mexican food—it’s good, but I wanted to switch it up and try something new. So glad I did!
This place blew me away. The birria tacos were insane—honestly the best I’ve ever had. The chips were thick and crispy. I don’t usually love thick chips, but these were awesome. The salsa was chunky (which I’m normally not into), but still tasty. I usually go for spicier salsas, but the flavor made up for it.
And let me just say… the drinks! I had the Big Bee margarita and WOW—halfway through I was already feeling it. I’m not even a big margarita person, but this one was strong, smooth, and so good.
Great food, fun vibe, and now officially my new go-to spot. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re looking to shake up your usual routine!

I forgot to take photos of my meal. I started eating as soon as I got it it smelled so good. We ordered the gallo giro burrito ( it’s very large) and the trio fajita they were great. We loved the loteria so much fun

I was in the mood for some nachos so I thought I would give this place a shot. When it comes to nachos, I’ve become a connoisseur. First off, the menu for the nachos was not accurate. It did not list that it contained refried beans. So when I received my nachos I had to send it back since it contained almost entirely of beans. I also instructed for them to make sure my nachos were well done to ensure the cheese is thoroughly melted. To their credit, they did use real cheese and not cheese sauce which I always confirm before ordering any nachos. It didn’t come with jalapenos so I had to ask for them. Round two, no beans but they sure made up for the beans with a ton of lettuce. This was not nachos, it was more of a taco salad. The cheese was only partially melted and applied sparingly. I was going to send it back for the 2nd time but according to the server, they said they could not melt the cheese anymore. That being said I just kept it and struggled through it. To their credit, the cook did come out and followed up on the nachos. To his surprise, he was unaware that the beans were not listed under the menu what the nachos consisted of. There was only one server during the dinner hour, who double duties as the bartender. There was another employee but spoke no English. The ambiance was nice. I will give them the highest mark for active content on the television. It was on ESPN with MNF. In summary, these were not nachos. It was a taco salad. Better change the menu and call it a taco salad.

We used El Gallo Giro of Meridian to cater a party for about 25 people. They have a TACO TRUCK that parked in my driveway. Caleb was awesome. He showed up early and was all set with delicious tacos and service. We did three meats (chicken, pork & beef) with all the fixings along with rice and beans. They served both street tacos and quesadillas. I heard multiple compliments from our guests about the quality of the food and how attentive Caleb was. We would definitely use them again. All in cost was about $25/person.

First timer here. I wish I could do half stars but alas I cannot, if I could it would be a 3.5. I can say that the service was great, very friendly too! I loved the loteria chairs and the decor. My girls thought that was a fun decorative aspect. We chose our own seating and boy, my husband was halfway to the floor with that booth bench. It was broken I’m sure of it, so maybe if we decide to come again we’d choose chairs. Now the food, the regular salsa was good and she kept refilling it for us. My girls enjoyed the bean dip and chips. We were excited to try the carne asada tacos and to be honest we were a little let down. The meat didn’t have that like authentic flavor you want with asada. Although I liked how it didn’t have the grisly pieces that some asadas do, but Idk I was just wanting more. We may have to come back and try something else on the menu though.

Complete whack junk…. Very salty and oily and nothing authentic about the Birria tacos. Ordered that with the side of rice, which is also completely tasteless but at least it was not salty. I do not recommend whatsoever and anywhere else is better than this establishment.
