Good tacos are surprisingly hard to find in San Francisco—but Gallo Gallo Taco Truck absolutely delivers.
The al pastor was perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of smoky, sweet, and spicy—crispy edges and tender inside. The carnitas were cooked really crispy. You can tell they care about the details, from the warm tortillas to the fresh salsas that actually have some kick.
Service is friendly and worth waiting for even when there’s a line.

One of the worst carne asada burritos I’ve ever had in my life. It’s only rice, beef, beans, and sour cream. Had no vegetables inside and the flavor was bland. I do not understand how this place gets such high praise. The Al pastor also was just ok.

Cash only. Sweetest people ever! Got 6 tacos and they asked if we wanted them split on two plates. Also happy to give us extra limes when we asked. Only two little tables set up outside but right across from a cute park! Al pastor was my favorite but the pollo and carne asada were both delicious as well. Great value for SF!

Amazing Mexican food truck. I love their tacos, burritos, and salsas, high quality food at reasonable prices. It’s a small family business so they care a lot about their customers and the quality of their food and service. I go ~ once a week for lunch there, and there are always repeated customers eating there.
