I purchased (two of each) cheese, pork, and chicken tamales to try them out. Also, I bought pan dulce (Mexican bread) a yellow concha, a payaso, and pan de agua (dinner rolls). The cheese tamales are delicious, flavorful, tasty, cheesy, perfectly proportioned, not spicy, and one of the best tamales I have ever tried. The pork are second. The chicken are flavorless and dry. I had a yellow concha and it was soft and tasty. TRY THE CONCHAS, A PAYASO BREAD, AND CHEESE AND PORK TAMALES. The pan de agua (dinner rolls) are world famous and there was an hour line for them. Try them they are price friendly. I did not try everything, so try what your heart desires.

My family has been coming to this bakery for 30+ years- never had any complaints until today. The person behind the counter was extremely impatient and “bossy” when placing our order. There were no other customers there so it wasn’t a matter of getting people in and out in a timely manner. Perhaps if they don’t want to be interacting with customers then they should look for another job. What a disappointment!
I have been coming here since I was a young girl and the staff was always so warm and welcoming. Makes me miss those days!

There were Flys on most of all the sweet bread . They are wild there prices are way to high. Oh and if you want your one dozen of sweets in a box instead of a brown bag they charge extra for that to. I was very disappointed. I never had came here and never will.again. the lady was rude when I asked why do they charge for the plastic container I I am taking a dozen. She said they dont come back…thats wild. Never again

I’m not too much of a big fan of Pan Dulce but I like the Mexican cheese cake it’s fire. Their bread is good. The champurado is fire but overall it’s a bit pricey. The service is bland really stale and they take long serving the customers. Also the take EBT

I really wanted to like this place because the food was actually good, but the service completely ruined the experience. When I arrived, I was standing next to the register, waiting in what I thought was the line it wasn’t clearly marked. Instead of letting me know right away that the line started somewhere else, the cashier ignored me three people who came in after me only then did she tell me, “Oh, the line is over here.” Even though I was right in front of the register clearly waiting for her and she advised me I have to go the back even though I was there before a group of people.
Later, while we were eating in their small dining area, I asked if there was a trash can I could use, and she said there wasn’t one available. Overall, the service just felt unhelpful and unwelcoming. The food was good, but I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the poor customer service I’ve experienced multiple times here.

Their bread is good and my friends love their empanadas – that is the only reason I put up with their bad service and the bad attitude of the people that work there. I placed an order over the phone and they gave me a 2 hour window. I came at the time i was told and the empanadas were not ready. On top of that they helped out a few people (a group of 6, and 3 other people) before they even asked if I had been helped. I had been waiting patiently the whole time, When they finally asked for the name of the order the lady disappeared and another came back with what I thought was my order, she looked at my direction so i approached the register and signed for the order, it turned out it was someone else’s order! I apologized for the confusion and the other customer was nice about it, but the employee rolled her eyes and was nodding her head angrily at me as if I had touched or eaten their bread!! It was an honest mistake, the attitude was totally unnecessary! Their customer service needs a major attitude adjustment! Come at your own risk and expect to be given rude service, that’s all.

Everything smells amazing the second you walk in. The conchas are soft and fresh every morning. The staff is warm and friendly even when it’s busy. The prices are super reasonable for the quality. I always stop by after work for a treat

This is the only place that I can find in SoCal that serves white mole. To partake in it here, you must order a dish they call “El Velo de Novia” (“the wedding veil,” from Spanish), featuring grilled black tiger shrimp drizzled in the sauce, served with a buttery mound of rice. Like most other moles, it is thick, has a piquancy that gradually builds the more you eat of it, but is tough to nail down vis-à-vis exactly what’s in it. In addition to chiles, allium, and butter, the creamy mole certainly seems to have white chocolate involved, along with almonds. Due to the influence of the latter two ingredients, it is sweet and tastes like Christmas to me.
I enjoyed my mole blanco experience. It’s very much unlike other moles, but similar in some ways as well. It is wise that Mexicans serve this only on very special occasions, as it is a bit “much” for an everyday meal — the density and richness of the mole makes it impossible to eat very much of it without feeling full.

Let me just start by saying that I drive about 25 miles to go buy in what my opinion is the best pan dulce anywhere. From their conchas, empanadas, puerquitos to the cuernos con mantequilla and on and on. They also have tamales and champurrado for purchase as well. If you are looking for some great pan dulce this is definitely the place to go and its definitely worth the drive.
