I’m saying 3 for Atmosphere because of location. It’s not the best part of town. It’s a hole in the wall diamond. The food was good- I enjoyed the Black Mole with chicken, rice and tortillas. They offered more tortillas but I couldn’t eat more or I would have taken them. My husband had the tlayuda plate with 3 meats. I had a taste and it was also good. Price a little higher than I would expect like everything else though. You won’t be able to finish your plate so it’s well worth the money. They also have a little shop where you can buy some Oaxacan/Mexican items. Oh! They also will ship some things to Mexico for you. They have 3 diff size boxes that you fill completely up and it’s a set price. Really cool spot. I’m a fan.

About a month ago I took my mother for lunch to this place. The appetizer was delicious and the food taste very good unfortunately halfway into our lunch my mother spotted 2 long hair into her chicken soup, that grows me up! and I told the waitress who offered to replace the soup we took her offer upon but that left us feeling very unhappy. I admit that the taste is good, but I got my doubts about the hygiene.

Check your credit card they are notorious for fraud.Service needs help. Waiter forgot even simple drink order. This is my 2nd time ever leaving a 1 star review. Months later, they committed fraud . They charged my credit card various times.

I went in at 830am, bought a concha bread and an horchata. I’m told there is a $10min to use a card. So I buy 2 bread and the horchata and some chips. The bread was rick hard and was clearly days old. Also, the horchata tasted terrible. The only thing we actually ate was the 2 bags of chips. Horchata was $4, breads were $2ea.
