Birria meat has the best flavor in town! All other tacos are average/ok. Tortillas used are store bought as well.

Stopped here because of reviews and location is close to home. Menu was diverse with multiple choices from tacos, chili rellenos, tostadas, etc. Wife ordered three carne asada tacos plus side of beans. I ordered a tostada and one taco of lengua. Meat in tacos was flavorful and plentiful and was served with grilled onions on the side plus onions and salsa either red or green on top. Wife loved the red salsa while I thoroughly enjoyed the green salsa. Wife said the red salsa was a perfect spiciness. Corn tortillas were good. You also get slices of cucumber plus sliced lemons. Ladies working in truck were very nice and friendly. Truck is parked on the South side of the Shell gas station. Wife said this is her new favorite taco place. We both recommend El Forastero for good reasonably priced Mexican food.

Really good taco truck that never disappoints! The tripas are nice and crunchy and the chorizo taste inside of a quesadilla. Also the Champorado is top tier don’t miss out!.

I was in a hurry and was sick of the chain restaurant and pulled over to this taco truck. The lights enticed me and the food was great. I’ve had tacos a few times, always fresh. The salsa was just right. My last time I had a Torta that was fantastic! I’ve been there a few times now. A family run small business that have great customer service and decent prices.

This spot really cares about what they serve. The quality and price is great. You got to check the times and days they set up. If not, you would be disappointed and drive around looking for a taco truck and get stuck settling for a spot that looks like a night club on wheels… Try the birria, and get a Chile rejeno for your vegetarian kid. I live in Oxnard and I’ve tried about 10 taco trucks. These are the BEST in Ventura County. Meat is so moist and the salsa is to die for. I’ve been coming for years now. I usually get the tacos de lengua, asada and biria. Everything’s delicious.

First time ordering from them. They shorted us tacos and all around messed up on our order. We had ordered certain ones plain for our kids and wanted certain meats with salsa and cilantro. The order was so messed up but I am pregnant and hungry so we just settled with what we had. Check your order before you leave!!!
