We stopped in and tried their sandwiches. We had the sandwich , the Cuban sandwich, and we also had the pan c/bistec steak sandwich hansy vista steak, sandwich. Tried some of their hot sauces. They are really good but not Texas hot. Lol. This is a quite place and was slow when we came in. The waitress is very sweet. Did. Ot speak much engalish but we were able to talk just fine. So come by and ask for Maria.

Staying at the Holiday Inn next four and could ask for a better place to eat at, I love to come here for dinner. Real food with an authentic taste. 10/10 would come back every night. Cold beer with a frosted mug.

One of the best meals I’ve had in months – truly. The owner was kind and attentive, walked us through the menu. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. I had the ropa vieja with fried plantains (maduros) and black beans & rice, followed by cuatro leches (because who wants TRES leches when you can have CUATRO?) and cafe Cubano? My friend had the Picaña with maduros and black rice, followed by torreja. Nothing left on our plates. I’m stuffed. I’m happy. Best Cuban meal I’ve ever had!

On our first visit we were welcomed as if we were family. The food is extraordinary and we will most definitely be back. They went out of their way to make us comfortable given the dining restrictions of the hotel we were staying in. And if you are so inclined, the white wine sangria was amazing! I can’t wait for the Spanish tortilla for breakfast tomorrow! And oh! Lunch specials!!! You know where to find me….

Ask for the Cuban experience, the owner, Allinn, was more than happy to share his best food. We loved the service and happy to leave a review. Many hotels around this restaurant, give it a try! I recommend the pork… we’re from Georgia having a first taste of Cuban food….live it!! Stay out of traffic!! Loved the quaint atmosphere, the walking distance from the hotel is convenient! We arrived at the Holiday Inn Express. After, we checked in and asked about places to eat nearby. The receptionist recommended this restaurant and it’s conveniently located next to the hotel.
I placed my pickup order via Doordash. We ordered the chicken soup, the Cuban, steamed rice and the tres leches cake. It took about 20 to 30 minutes for the order to be ready.
When, I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Allinn, and I showed him my order. He told me the soup, rice and cake were ready and to give him a few more minutes to finish the sandwiches.
The restaurant is very clean, quaint and quiet with the sounds of the TV in the background.
Allinn is very pleasant and checked on his customers while taking care of my order.
I got my order and the food is delicious. The chicken soup is filled with chicken, noodles, diced potatoes and carrots and the broth is delicious especially with the fluffy rice. The cuban is so very good. The bread is toasty and soft at the same time; the meats and toppings are delicious.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the caramel tres leches cake. This is the first one that I have had. It’s very good. I would recommend coming here. I know we will come here again. I want try the oxtails. Allinn, thank you for making my first time here the best.

Delicious! Attentive! Great assorted Menu of choices! A great experience! The vibe when you walk in is incredible. You are greeted at the door and welcomed in. You are waited on hand and foot. The choices were vast and I am on a super strict food regimen and unable to eat many things, but I would have been thrilled to have tried everything! Excellent experience! Better than being at home!! The soup of the day was this most exquisite Sweet Potato and Pumpkin cream soup with potato sticks and garlic drizzle on top. Absolutely incredible! The people eating were all super content. One guy ordered thing after thing to try more dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. Right behind the Holiday Inn and very convenient to everything. Plenty of parking. The Chef that they have makes the most delicious plates!

Great experience in this modest cafeteria in the midst of Hialeah Gardens.
I provided my compliments to the cook. The daily special was cooked to perfection. A humble dish like filetillo salteado (sliced beef stew) with green olives and potatoes was superb. Soft well-seasoned beef and the potatoes had the right texture and once you bite them turned into almost mashed potato consistency.
The congri (rice/black bean mix) was excellent and the platanos maduros (ripe plantain fritters) fried to perfection. Light crisp outside layer and sweetness perfection inside.
They have some small but good and affordable selection of wines ( by glass or bottle).
Closed the meal with caramel flan and café cubano (espresso) no sugar of course. LOL
Had a delectable lunch and pleasant experience. Great cook and excellent service by the waitress and front man.
Really, a great place to eat and enjoy good latin flave food located in a small strip mall.
