If you haven’t visited El Flamingo Bar and Grill, you’re truly missing out on fantastic food and exceptional service. Jocelyn, our waiter, was simply amazing. Every employee who stopped by our table made sure we had everything we needed. We loved every dish we ordered. We didn’t have to wait long to indulge in flavorful alcapirria and relleno de papa, followed by juicy bistec encebollado, arroz con gandules, lettuce, and tomate. To top off our meal, we enjoyed delicious quesitos!

It’s a definitely must try restaurant. As a Puerto Rican, the food is on point. Food could have been a little warmer, but it was still really good.

New Puerto Rican restaurant- Place definitely has potential, appetizer Pastelillos (ground beef) Main dish Mofongo with shrimp and Arroz Gandules. They didn’t have one of the appetizer I wanted at the time. But overall this was a very nice place and staff was very friendly. I’m willing to return and I am sure the small issues will be corrected.

Location is nice. Deco on point. Nobody in front to greet customers. Had to say hello anybody here. Menu is very confusing. Blacked out items per waitress had ran out the prior week. Asked about pollo guisado they had none. Beans per waitress had red or black, I choose black but she quickly returned stating the last serving was given to customer at the bar, weird as the place had just opened for the day 11:05am. Must have been from night before. No white rice only Puerto Rican rice but had to wait 20 for it to finish cooking. No pasteles, papa rellenas or acapurias waitress then came back 15 min later stating they made us one free of charge since everything we requested was not available even when on the menu. Acapuria was crispy good flavor enough meat but did need a bit of color. Plates presentation was nice. Rice color was ok but did lack flavor. Bistec encebollado was delicious bean were ok had to mix with rice to add flavor. Jibarito was ok but nothing out of this world. Lechon sandwich meat was good but lacked garlic butter or some type of taste on the actual bread. We asked for cheese on the sandwich it came without. I may come back during late night to see if music and drink are worth coming back ok as for the food I will continue to take the drive to the city. Over all very confused what they serve when they have available and if it will be ready within an allowable time frame.
