The El Jefe platter was amazing, a great sample of 3 different enchiladas a tamale and a taco. I tried to eat the fried ice-cream, but it came out not fried just rolled in coconut and pecan, the plate was so hot it burned the coconut and absolutely tainted the flavor and filled the area with an awful smoke that burned my eyes and stunk up my clothes. I quickly took the burning mess of the plate to try to stop the smoke. The waiter apologized while he was serving it but didn’t offer to fix anything, but at least he didn’t spill it on me like he did my first beer.

The food was absolutely delicious! I really love Tex-Mex cuisine, and this place definitely did not disappoint. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and full of taste. On top of that, the prices are very affordable, especially for the quality and portion sizes you receive. It’s a great spot if you want amazing food without spending too much.
All of the servers and managers were awesome and always happy to help. You can really tell that they care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience. Our server, Erick, was especially kind and attentive. He made us laugh a lot and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The host at the front was also very welcoming and friendly, which made a great first impression as soon as we walked in.
If you’re a big fan of Tex-Mex food, I would definitely recommend this place. The nachos were one of my favorite dishes — perfectly loaded and full of flavor! The margarita was also very delicious and refreshing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to come back again!

Classic Tex Mex. We came here on New Year’s Day and had a wonderful meal. Everything came piping hot and the waiter was great. I have zero complaints about my meal except I cannot finish it lol great job guys!

The food was actually really good. I had never had a puffy taco and it was good. The margaritas were amazing. Our waitress was outstanding. She was so nice. I wish I remembered her name. We will definitely be back.

Always top notch and even when i ask for.something weird, lime chicken enchiladas NO SAUCE, just tortilla rolled up with chicken and rice and beans, came out perfect and DELISCIOUS! I HABE BEEN GOING HERE SINCE 1970s and it is still great food, sevice and atmospher. Dont change anything!

Our family made a reservation for 20 each and were all seated together at a long table, inside an alcove, for privacy. Ms. Leticia was our waitress and she was attentive, providing excellent service. The food was delicious and each person had a very enjoyable experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Tenchita Salad has been removed from the menu yet my waiter still had it made for me. ✨️ Upon placing it on the table I immediately notice that The Queso is now just a thick cheese substance. Not the traditional queso.
We no longer have Elfenix in OKC Ok so stopping there was purposeful during all my trips passing through DFW. Great service as always. Just disheartening to know the Tenchita queso salad is no longer the Elfenix Tenchita queso salad I’ve grown to love for 40+ years.
