Placed a delivery order on 2/27/26 from the Dallas Casa Linda location. When the order got delivered was missing several items. Tried calling 4 times that same night, which the receipt said to do, finally the next morning was able to leave a voice mail. Missing a half pint of salsa, jar of salsa, praline grande and both drinks. The food was delicious but not the same without the salsa and extra items that were ordered and paid for. Hoping a solution can be made and I get a call back to resolve the matter.

Always love it here! Food is delicious, exactly what you want when you want TexMex. The service is stellar— take our order (no notes), food comes out QUICK, and they never forget extras (no onions, avocado slices in the side, etc). We come here often and love it. Our baby eats an entire adult chicken enchilada platter.

Was disappointed with my takeout order for 2 people. So I asked for another bag of chips. Was told I needed to pay $2:15 for one, so I did .

Well it’s been around 59 years since my last visit. I was about 4 or 5 years old and my mom and my grandparents used to come here almost every Wednesday for the enchilada special. I remember, there used to always be a line out the door onto the sidewalk down the front of the building for people to get in.
So my wife and I had the enchilada special.
We both had the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce and of course they’re wonderful chips and hot sauce.
Our server was great. She was very professional very polite very attentive..
The food was perfect. I ate everything..
Been a lot of decades since I was here, but I think I’ll probably be back much sooner.
Thanks, El Fenix for still being there after all these decades. Would definitely recommend.

Soooo great! Love this place. We are visiting from Denver and came here with family – a party of 8. Though it was pretty busy, we were seated right away and service was immediate. We got chips right away and they kept them coming as we mowed through them … they might have been the best chips I’ve ever had, which is saying a lot because chips are my favorite food group. I also had one of the best margaritas ever. Not sure why, just great flavor and ingredients in perfect proportion. Our food came out hot and was delicious. I had veggie enchiladas which were fat with sauteed squash, onions, and peppers and covered in a great creamy green sauce. Martin (?? she/ella) was our server and was friendly, prompt, and attentive… but not overly so. Will look forward to our next family trip to Dallas. Will definitely be back to Fenix!!
Oh yeah, and best part… Or check was $160. Eight entrees and six margs. Ah-mazing!!!

My husband first ate here 60 years ago. On a recent trip he reported 2 visits.
*The first visit excellent food and service.*
On the second the food was good however the server rushed him to pay while he was still eating bc her ride was ready to go. (No tip)
The restaurant manager was engaging and friendly both times, a real credit to the restaurant!

3.9.24 we had the most amazing service. Our waiter brought out water and more salsa without us even having to ask. He got our orders right, checked up on us, was polite, and attentive. The margaritas and fajitas were perfection. We left full and happy.
