When we lived nearby, my family and I would frequently visit this eatery. We now make an effort to visit this restaurant at least once when we are all in New Jersey. The cuisine is classic Dominican goodness. I love the stew chicken, roast chicken, ribs, chicken and pigeon peas and red beans. All are delicious. My Mom loves the octopus salad.

I’ve been going to Ensueno for 26 years.. whenever I’m in the area I make sure to stop by and pick up alot of food so we can enjoy it and still have leftovers. Rice, beans, tostones, sweet plantains, chicken, steak with onions, salad… we love it!!!

Very dry food and poor customer service especially if you don’t speak Spanish

Food is delicious… but I asked for a mofongo with less salt & less garlic. They did not paid attention. It was salty & too much garlic; maybe the waitress did not write it down. This was the second time that this happened.

I ordered a coffee in Spanish. Woman behind the counter acted like she could not understand me. So I ordered in English. Upon checking out, I was told me my total was dos y cincuenta. She then changed it to three dollars when she said it in English. Coffee was also very small for the price. I was originally going to get food, but they were rude enough that I just got the coffee.
