Huge menu, great food, good service. The parking lot needs some love as someone who had to use a mobility scooter rolling through gravel and potholes is rough. The elote was great and the taquitos mexicanos were a good price.

Me and my husband love this place. He had started coming with his buddies for lunch during work hours and he raved about it so much that I had to come and see what it was about. I personally love Birria and have had it several times. Its my favorite meat for tacos and they have that here, and a Birria “pizza” which can be shared. It is the best tasting food I have had out of trying several in Wetumpka, Millbrook, Prattville and Montgomery so far. I really liked the queso and the salsa. They have a really good taste, texture and are very enjoyable. I want to try other things on the menu but I just keep wanting the birria lol. I recommend this place to everyone I have talked to about local businesses. The service has been excellent everythime we have come by.

We lucked upon this place during a recent trip through Wetumpka. This is seriously some of the best Mexican food anywhere. Our server made excellent recommendations since this was our first visit. We ended up ordering the chicken taquitos and the birria pizza. Both were fantastic. Don’t pass this up if you are on US-231 headed through Wetumpka.

This place is awesome! Twice I’ve been here. Had the birria tacos the first time, and then this gem they just came out with! Birria pizza! Amazing this is a small. Just perfect for two of us that eat with a variety of toppings. Flavor was delicious. Came out hot and juicy , tender meat. Highly recommend this place. I’d say underrated. We need something like this in Montgomery! Prices are very great too.

First time there but definitely not my last! Service was very friendly and the staff actually cared about me and my meal. The salsa bar was an excellent touch and the food was amazing. Finally, this place is veteran friendly which is obvious when you walk in. Highly recommended!

This is my 2nd visit as the 1st visit was really bad as my friend had to kill a fly that wouldn’t stop hovering over our food and I believed it was an off night. Therefore I gave it a 2nd chance and while I believe i got spoiled from another Mexican restaurant no longer open I needed to try this place again. Greet 10, chips and salsa 10 (it’s corn chips took a bit to get use to, however the salsa was excellent). Menu prices an 8 a bit pricey however doable, I got water bcz it was a hot day thankful for their ac as another Mexican restaurant only had 1 of their 2 so I left there to get to here. Food temperature 10 presentation 5, I asked for lettuce and loaded up at the topping bar afterwards raised to an 6, however no fresh guacamole on the bar its labeled avocado salsa (too runny and servers from the kitchen had to come out to this bar to add to the dishes. There should be 1 in the kitchen for cooks to do.) I hot a half order of fajita steak nachos it was punny until I asked for lettuce and added Pico, onion, jalapeños and avocado sauce. (I was disappointed beforehand it looked like a kids plate and no fresh guacamole on the plate or self serve bar). The walls were bare no authentic art displayed and no music made it feel less than a Mexican restaurant, rate a 5 for neutral and 10 for great service. Overall rating=8.65 be sure to go when there’s a few cars in the parking lot.

The food nor service never disappoints here! This is our go to Mexican restaurant. My sister and her husband live in deatsville and same goes for them, they travel the 30 minutes just to eat here when craving Mexican! Exceptional service and friendliness from everyone. They are truly grateful for you choosing them and the food is always delicious!

Excellent food and excellent service. The whole staff was so sweet and attentive. They have a salsa bar for you to try several different kinds. They make their guacamole table side so you know it’s fresh. The street corn was tangy and, just delicious. They also offer table salsa with or without cilantro for all the cilantro haters out there. Give them a try, highly recommend!

My family and I call this OUR MEXICAN place. EL Encanto is BY FAR my favorite. They have ALL the options. They also make thier sauces, TEAS, meats, and freshly chopped/ground/sliced herbs and vegetables themselves. They have a wide variety of options at their salsa and sauce bar (peppers and onions, cilantro, limes and ).
It is worth the trip no matter where you are traveling from OR how much time you have.
The 3 brothers own El Encanto and their staff is #1
