The mangu was stale, old, and had hard dried out bits of plantain inside it . The sausage was so burnt and dry that it was inedible. On top of all that they gave me the wrong size meal. Looking at other reviews and I really wonder why mine came out so bad. This meal was ordered for delivery via door dash. (See my photos for reference)

For them to be a Dominican restaurant their food well, their breakfast literally has no flavor maybe in Dominican myself I was highly disappointed, especially being excited to have found a Dominican restaurant. I’ll never go there again.

If the owners are the ones who are working the counter, they are very sweet. The food is good and you get a lot of it. 2 meals out of one dish imo 🙂

You get a lot of food for a pretty good price. I get lunch from here often when I’m working and all my coworkers order food from here too

Food is inconsistent when it comes to flavor, taste, temperature and quality. The service can be slow, even though, this is a cafeteria style restaurant. The location located on Chalkstone Ave, use to give you a small side of beans and salad with a medium or large plate. They longer offer the salad or the beans for free. They will not even give you a small scoop of beans over your rice. The side of beans now cost $3. The temperature of the food is either hot, warm or cold (more cold food recently.) overall, the service and quality have gone downhill at the Chalkstone location.

Awesome place for a quick grab and go spanish food stop. A small place with CASH ONLY payments. Not as many options as other spanish restaurants with similar food and style but its always good to have options when other places are out of reach. Food taste great and portions are plentiful. Staff is great especially Yaneris (hopefully spelling it right) All in all definetly a great place for Dominican style spanish food.
