Great food. Not too heavy or over seasoned. Service was great. My boys had Shrimp tacos, shrimp quesadilla and beef quesadilla.. their words “1 of the best ever “… I would like to note that there’s an unusual smell when you walk in, old building smell perhaps… but give it time to get used to it… dont turn back… I know I almost did… its worth it for the food and service

Spend your money anywhere else. The food was very bland, thankfully it was small portions. Not worth the $12.00 a plate. The queso is not worth $10 it was just melted fake velveta cheese with no flavor.I hardly ever write reviews, but this was very underwhelming. The other reviews that I read highly recommended this place.That’s why I went there. What a disappointment. Cheap food at a moderate price.

5 stars because everything is fairly priced and service is great. The drink pours are generous, the food is decent, the price is low…what’s not to like? If you don’t care about your jeans fitting anymore, order the queso flameado with chorizo and fresh onion and scoop it up with some hot flour tortillas…then wash it down with a house margarita with a tajin rim

The Mexican Restaurant, El Dorado Mexican Restaurant is by far the best in the central area of Clear Lake City. The restaurant has wonderful food, the appetizer Guacamole is so delicious, oh, the fajitas are so so delicious. If you like wonderful Tex Mex or Authentic Mexican Food Reasonable Priced but Delicious this is definitely the restaurant. And the Margaritas are Top Rate with the best flavor.
