The food Looked pretty but it didn’t taste that great. We ordered 3 sushi’s and a side of rice and veggies w/ 4 crafted beverages. The total was a little over $100. I wouldn’t have minded if the food tasted good, but in all honesty we were all disappointed. The sushi rice was overcooked and did not taste great. My niece got a natural roll but they doused it in eel sauce which she does not like & we would not want to be wasteful and send it back. We were hungry so we ate about half of the roll then packed it all to go. My agua de horchata looked like a great idea but was lacking in flavor. I wonder if it is made with real ingredients or it’s a powder mix. The coconut was dry and didn’t taste like anything. I’m glad that the employees were very professional & friendly

I want to start by saying that I first discovered this company when they only had a taco truck, and I loved that place; it was one of my favorite spots to eat. However, since they have moved to a restaurant, my experience has not been great.
I waited almost an hour without receiving a drink or any chips. Just when I thought I would finally get my food, they began bringing out items I didn’t order. It all started with the wrong drink, followed by the incorrect food, which meant I had to wait even longer. Additionally, there were flies inside the restaurant.
The portion sizes have changed drastically; you now get a lot less food while still paying the same prices as at the taco truck. I came with a party of four, and we all received our plates at intervals of about 10 to 25 minutes apart. By the time we had all received our food, my wife’s plate was already cold because we prefer to eat together. We don’t start eating until everyone has their food.
I was served steak that was not cut, and there were no knives available for me to use to eat it. Overall, the food was delicious, but the portions were smaller than I expected for the same price. The service was terrible; we didn’t receive drinks until our food was served, and there were no chips or salsa provided, despite them claiming to offer Japanese/Mexican cuisine. There was also no miso soup, chips, or salsa to enjoy while we waited for our food.
Personally, I wish they had stayed at the taco truck because that experience was far better. This visit has truly disappointed me regarding El Don..
for the cherry on top of the cake, when I asked if they’re gonna have a father’s day discount, the waitress said, no, but you can take a picture with the balloons that we made for you.

exceeded all my expectations in every way!! the staff was very attentive & kind , the atmosphere was a 12/10, & the food is truly incomparable! overall i would come here again & again. perfect for celebrations or even just a nice dinner with the family. hoping El Don restaurants expands its locations because they really are there own genre , nobody else is doing it like El Don !

Came with my family yesterday 6/15/25 to celebrate Father’s Day and the minute you walk in your greeted by friendly staff. As they walk you to your table other staff members welcome you and it makes you feel very welcomed. The decor and atmosphere was amazing as well. The food and drinks were amazing and our server did an amazing job she was awesome great personality and checked up on us regularly. I will definitely be coming back overall had an amazing experience. Thank you.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately my experience didn’t meet expectations. Our drinks took over 20 minutes arrive plus gave us the wrong drinks and the food took more than 40 minutes. I ended up asking for it to-go, but the rice was too salty to enjoy. I hope this feedback helps improve the service and food quality, because the atmosphere seemed promising.

I’ve been here several times since they opened and every single time everything is perfect! I love the food! Service is amazing their servers are friendly & attentive. I’ve tried several dishes; their aguachilitos 1000/1000, enchiladas la doña the best! Also their shrimp tacos a must try! Their guacamole is like no other & their sushi & hibachi continues being the best! Highly recommend this place

I fell in love with this place when it was a food truck. Food was amazing, customer service, along with the prices but I can’t say the same about the restaurant . When the restaurant opened I decided to keep supporting, regardless the price increase, as it was my favorite but so upsetting to see the portion sizes change drastically, it’s not even worth what you pay anymore.
