At El Diablo, our journey began in 2021 with humble beginnings as a taco food truck, bringing authentic Mexican flavors to the streets of Fort Collins, Colorado. Back then, we were known as El Diablo, and our mission was simple: to serve the best, most flavorful Mexican tacos to our community. Word quickly spread about our delicious tacos, made with fresh ingredients and time-honored recipes, earning us a reputation as the go-to spot for Mexican street food. In response to overwhelming support from our customers, we took the next step in our journey by opening our very first restaurant in Fort Collins. With a passion for delivering an authentic dining experience, our restaurant became a local favorite, offering what many consider the bes…

UPDATE! Owner apologized and gave us a free appetizer. Food was WAY better back to before. Very sweet staff today!

I am very saad to have to rate so low!! Last Friday we tried this restaurant for the first time. We received AMAZING service from Paola, refreshing drinks, and delicious food. Even festive music which created a fun atmosphere. Today we experienced completely opposite. We didnt even catch our less than impressive waitresses name. I tried ordering a sangria *same as before* she stated we haven’t served that in a long time.. pictured below on menu* After reading the sign stating February specials I ordered a strawberry margarita. She says she doesnt think they offer strawberry.. food was cold and my mole chicken enchilada was red enchilada sauce. I asked her about it she claims “the owners make if different, and where she’s from they are sweet too” music was not a fun vibe, as it was before.

I have heard all about this restaurant so I finally decided to try is this past Wednesday. I got a chicken burrito with red sauce. My roommate got the steak Fajita burrito with red sause. We also got the mole to try. My word I was not disappointed at all. Both burritos were huge. I should have taken pictures! All of the meals came with rice and beans. Both were delicious. We got corn tortillas with the mole and they were also sooo good. We plan to dine-in next time so I can try their margaritas! What a great spot!

Very professional staff. The place looked clean, even the bathroom. They were able to assign us a table right away. The waiter was very respectful and was able to help us with everything we needed. I gave it 4 stars only because the sauce for the tamales wasn’t that great. Is the green one that tasted really sour. Like it was made only with tomatillos and nothing else. The red one was alright. I would definitely go back.

El Diablo Mexican restaurant in Fort Collins is a local gem that’s really impressed me. Starting from a food truck and now a full-service restaurant, they’ve nailed it with their food and service.

The flavors are everything. Each dish tastes homemade and authentic, like they really know their stuff in the kitchen. Whether you’re into sizzling fajitas or cheesy enchiladas, the food hits the spot.

What’s cool is they offer combo options that give you a bit of everything you love without costing a fortune. And the drinks? They’re solid, too, just right for washing down all that deliciousness. They are some of the most under-appreciated margaritas in Fort Collins.

Service-wise, they’re on it. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure you’re well taken care of from start to finish. It felt very personal and fun! It’s that kind of touch that keeps me coming back.

If you’re in Fort Collins and craving good Mexican food in a laid-back atmosphere, El Diablo is definitely worth checking out. Good food, good drinks, and good vibes—what more could you ask for?

As a certified home grown Arizonan who had a Mexican step mother and had tios and tias and an abuela… i could never find a place that could make carne asada like my tios or a good pollo a la crema……
Until….
This place would have made abuela proud the carne asada was perfectly seasoned the amazing slight char to it and the Pollo a la crema was perfect the staff was friendly and amazing and their house margaritas is on point! I will definitely be going back. I cannot suggest this place more. I would add a picture of the food….. buuuut uhhh we ate it all… this place also passed the beans and rice test (spent over a year around AZ tasting every restaurants beans and rice and this ones up there)

Never been here, my mans been telling me about this place he’s gonna a couple of times now. He was there Friday 10/3 after work and brought home his leftovers. I got off work late and he had given me his leftovers to eat which the flavors were delicious but I didn’t get to far as the second I bit into the enchilada I bit something hard and to my surprise it was a whole wishbone. My man ended up calling the place and they said a manager would call back and we never heard anything back. I took a picture and stopped eating immediately.

I’m personally offended that nobody has recommended El Diablo to me, since I’ve moved to FoCo. You should also be offended if you haven’t heard of them.
Don’t tell my local joint I’ve got a new main dish! I can’t possibly go back to them after this…

Pleasantly surprised all around – the chicken mole (Mole Daño Diabla) was excellent and very filling. Mom had the skirt steak which was huge and she said one of the best and most flavorful she’s had. Even the chips and salsa had a uniquely interesting and addictive flavor. I like that they offer both mango lemonade and strawberry lemonade.

This was great! Very attentive service, fast kitchen, unique menu items like Mexican pizza and ramen. I had the Birria enchiladas. Delicious but I wished they were slightly more generous with the rice and beans. Free chips and salsa, the tortilla chips were thick and warm. Shows on Google with a different name (El Pueblito?). Bigger than it looks once inside. Will happily go back.

I thought I would give a try because of the food critics review. Boy was he wrong. The tamales with the green chilli and red chilli was horrible. No flavor at all, no spice at all. The rice seemed to me to be Chinese rice with red food coloring. Beans were watered down no flavor. If you like real Mexican flavors with your food, DO NOT GO HERE! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! 0 out of 10!
