Tried this place for the first time and it definitely exceeded expectations—much better than Chipotle. The prices are slightly higher, but the portions are generous. We ordered the mushroom bowl and veggie burrito, both were excellent. They also serve Mexican cola, which is a nice upgrade from the usual Coke or Pepsi options. The pineapple salsa is absolutely outstanding, and both the chipotle ranch and honey jalapeño dressings were full of flavor. They also have outdoor seating with bar-style tables offering a nice view.

This has been a go-to spot for anyone visiting the area. The food is delicious and tastes very fresh. Prices are reasonable, though unfortunately that they are no longer as competitive as they once were. Very generous with foods that come with the bowl, so I can sometimes get 2 meals out of 1 bowl. My go to is the chicken bowl with honey jalapeño dressing. I’ve heard great things about other options too!

Great place for a hefty meal, no matter which meal it is. Is it pricy, yes.. are the portions huge, yes. Even the kids servings are more than enough for an adult. They offer tasty options as you build your meal yourself. We had lunch this past time and all three of us enjoyed it, our daughter liked the idea of picking all that went into hers and said it was delicious.

El Diablo Burrito is a fantastic spot for a quick, delicious, and value-for-money meal. During my visit, I had the opportunity to sample all three of their main offerings: the burrito, quesadillas, and the salad. While all the options were tasty, the quesadilla truly stood out with its delightful flavors and textures. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh, and the overall organization of the establishment was impressive.
One minor critique I have is that the chicken lacked the expected adobo seasoning, which impacted the overall flavor profile. Despite this, I still believe that El Diablo Burrito is an excellent choice for a fast, satisfying meal. I highly recommend trying the pinto beans and the short rib as they make for exceptional add-ons to your order.

Awesome place to eat right next to the University of Delaware campus. Restaurant is similar to Chipotle but, in my opinion, the food is much better. Tons of toppings to choose from including a bunch of delicious dressings. Prices are reasonable and, unlike Chipotle, you get your money’s worth when you add guacamole. Every time I’m at UD I have to stop by for a burrito bowl.

Ordered 2 adobo chicken bowls during the lunch rush. Most of the ingredients were not stocked on the line, everything was low. Upon leaving to meet up with a friend for lunch we open our bowls and there was no chicken. I’m not opposed to vegetarian, but having paid for chicken it was kind of a let down.

As the order was moved down the line almost all the hot ingredients had to be refilled, up to the cheese which was also empty. By that point the original chicken request must have been overlooked. I did not go back to request again because I assumed it was already done. This was at the main street Newark location.

We got take out for Mother’s Day. Mushroom tacos and mahi mahi. All the tacos had one shell that was cold, soggy and disintegrated instantly. The flavor mostly came from the pineapple and the pickled onions but all the tacos were pretty bland overall. My taco had hardly any Mahi Mahi. The Mahi Mahi was very dry and bland. The mushrooms were incredibly bland and disappointing. Quality of the food don’t taste any higher then Chipotle.
If you’re going to to offer take out tacos please for goodness sake wrap the darn things in two shells! Flavor the fish and mushrooms. The fish doesn’t need to be cooked to the point that you have to down water eating it.
