So good!! We always Google search for small mom and pop restaurants on our trips. We love supporting small businesses. We had the pork sandwiches, burrito cubano and ham and cheese. Wow, they were so freaking crunchy and the meat was so tender. Onions gave the sandwiches amazing flavor and texture.

I went to try El Cubano, the pastelitos left a bad taste in my mouth, they were old and tasted stale and very dry, I also try the (chicken) empanadas, THEY WERE HARD AND THE MEAT WAS DRY AND FALLING APART, also had croquetas that tasted like it was fried in old oil. If you want real Cuban food DO NOT COME HERE you’ll be disappointed. The one start is for the cold soda.

Unassuming Cuban cafe with good food and large portions! The lunch special with ground beef, black beans, rice, and plantains was tasty. Will definitely return to try one of their empanadas. Support local small businesses!

Arrived around 9am during the posted business hours and the place was dark and locked. Building and property looked dirty, neglected and abandoned. I was so looking forward to Cuban coffee and breakfast. Apparently, I’m not the first person to find the place closed during business hours. Not worth wasting your time. We found Beach Bum Bagels nearby instead, which was fabulous!

Best Cuban sandwich of my life. That slow cooked pork is amazing in there. And the bread is perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Get the large, it’s big enough for two meals and great value. Great Latin charm from the staff. Can’t wait to come back.
