Dinner was delicious as always. The best refried beans, chili rellenos, and cheese enchiladas, my mother’s favorite. Every time I fly in from overseas, I can’t wait to dine here for their camarones al mojo de ajo (garlic shrimp) with refried beans. Their menu is great. And the XX Amber draft is nice and cold. Service is always wonderful.

Met our friend Julie, Violet, Roc, and Dean for lunch at El Cortez. The ambiance was positive, and our staff of servers starting with Shelsea, Fidel, Atrziry, and Molly were friendly, attentive, and professional. The chips and salsa were good, and the margaritas, Don Julio Blanco, and bloody Mary’s were all good. We had fajitas, enchiladas, chile Verde, omelets, and soup. All the food was hot and tasty.

Such a good ambience. The Cadillac margarita is awesome. I had the Chile verde for lunch, very good. They are busy for lunch but the restaurant is big so no lines. They still have the outside seating, which is very good for them. Lots of locals but families too.

Everything we had was fantastic. Complimentary chips and freshly made Pico de Gallo salsa. We ordered the guacamole appetizer which came served in an eatible tortilla bowl. I ordered the Carnitas Jolisco and, I must say, it was seasoned perfectly, not dried out, and topped with diced white onion and chopped cilantro. My pops ordered the Chile Verde, and he couldn’t stop talking about it. And for dessert we ordered Churros, and those came with whipped cream on the side. It was all delicious and satisfying. Will definitely be returning!!
