The food is Amazing! Great portions and very kind staff. The place is smaller so they are always busy. They do have seats out back so if you grab it to go and still sit or want a place to sit and wait you can probably go there. Would 100% go again.

Wow I loved everything about our our experience at El Corral. The walls are decorated with interesting paintings, with great use of wood trim to provide depth and warmth through the space. I kept looking around taking in the details. The food was very good. The shrimp tacos are the best I’ve ever had! The service was excellent, the booths comfortable. I think this will be a frequent date locale for us.

El Corral is in the building that contained the Quick Shop, and former Wichwich. They have a great decor with a lot of style. It felt like it might be the most well decorated Mexican restaurant in town. The staff was very busy, we came in at 6:30 in the rush. After 15 minutes we were seated. The suggestion I have would be for the staff to recognize and at least check in those standing at the door.
Beyond that, a very friendly and helpful staff that knew the menu well. I am picky about Guacamole, it should be avocado and a pinch of salt, no sour cream or anything else in it. The dip version was not to my liking, but I see a larger possibly better version that I’ll try next time.
Now for the best part – fantastic food! I ordered the combo fajitas Jalisco, shrimp, beef, and chicken. There were some peppers and onions but the dish was mostly proteins, and very delicious ones! The tortillas were soft and fresh, maybe home made?
We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere was pleasant. All this packed into a small restaurant!
I’ll be back and I recommend you give this a try.
Ask for the spicy tomatillo salsa, you get the plain gringo red sauce with chips, this has some good flavor!
Let me add a few more items as we sample through the menu. Our third visit here and tried the Special Corral fajitas – the carnitas were fantastic, just melt in your mouth. My wife had the Pollo Corral. The Guacamole was great, I can pass on the guac dip, not a fan of sour cream in it or guac that is soupy. It should be mostly chunks of avocado, some onion, pico salt and lime.

Do yourself a favor and get the fried flour tacos! Sometimes they are on special but the prices are not bad anyway. You get a good amount of cheese on the tacos as well. Order some queso! Guacamole is good. Salsa has good flavor. Favorite Mexican restaurant in MHK.

The salsas were great, spicy packed a good kick with great flavor. Chicken enchiladas were stuffed with juicy shredded chicken, tomatoes, etc. Waiter was very nice and checked on me often, affordable prices with great flavors. I was also able to customize my sauces. Will be back!

5/5 all around!! Very nice, clean, and love the vibe. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the design of the space! The food was amazing, portion sizes are large, prices were great as well. The servers were all very kind and helpful. We ate our food a bit too quickly for photos (a good thing) & the Sopapillas were amazing!! Highly recommend!

Small but very nice! Good service, friendly and attentive. Parking was interesting, but I guess there was better parking in the back lot. The parking is shared with a gas station. Which was actually kind of convenient, as we also needed gas.
