Very down to earth kinda place. Take a group here, tasty food and great service. Neat n clean , hole in the wall kinda feel. Comfortable and warm. Awesome margaritas, frozen ones come in a patron bottle. My friend n I, had a great time.

Kind of average Mexican food. Nothing particularly special about it. The table salsa was a bit mediocre. Service was good.

Authentic Mexican if you’ve actually been to Mexico.
For everyone else, what this place lacks in interior design is made up in spades with the food. I believe everything is made to order or at most prepared before the day. I didn’t experience the mass produced food that seemingly every other Mexican restaurants hawks from their Sysco Food Supplier.
Well portioned, fair prices, kind staff, and great food!

My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant 3 years ago and let me tell you, it is the greatest Mexican restaurant we have ever been to. On our first visit, my wife ordered the shrimp tostada and as she began to eat it she exclaimed, “I have been to Mexico, and this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had!” I have to agree. The food here is always fresh and no matter what day or time we have been there, it is always just as good as the first time. My go-to here is the quesadilla loca, which consists of chicken (pollo), steak (asada), and chorizo (sausage). I have attempted to order this at other Mexican restaurants and none have been able to match El Corcel #2. My drink of choice here is the sangria margarita on the rocks. This sangria is not a pre-mix and the taste reflects that. With bits of fresh cut apples and a fresh lime, it is the most perfect margarita I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. Our bill has never been more than $50 and we always leave feeling that it was worth every penny. If you love Mexican cuisine, and haven’t been here yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?!?!? Make your way to El Corcel #2 as soon as you can and you will see; it IS possible to find authentic Mexican food in Indy. So good in fact, that it tastes better than Mexican food served in Mexico.

This place has the largest wings you’ll find in the aere area and they make their sauces from scratch. Photo shows Mango Habanero. Mmm mmm. Sweet and spicy!

What a find! A small parking lot was full at 230 on a Sunday. When I left, I knew why: great authentic Mexican food, fast friendly service, and a quaint atmosphere. The menu has different dishes that aren’t on many “American” Mexican places. I had the shrimp burrito, which was STUFFES with tasty shrimp with a slightly spicy brown sauce. Delicious! My wife’s steak burrito was just as good with tender steak and veggies and served with salad and rice. We also had the fish tacos, which were excellent. I failed to write down the proper name for these dishes, so you will have to research the menu! By the way, unless you are very thirsty, the medium jalapeño margarita is plenty big and very tasty! Enjoy!

Pretty good place to eat. I had the Tios Burrito, and the meats were good, not flavorless like some other Mexican restaurants.
We also had a chimichanga, and it was good too.
Would have been nice to have a salsa per person, as the container was a bit small for two.

Today at 8:20pm, 4/18/22: The menu states 16.99 for shrimp fajitas however they charging 18.99 when they bring you your bill. I had to tell the hostess that she has to charge the price that’s advertised on the menu. She stated she called her manager and her manager told to charge extra $2 on the menu. I even showed the hostess how I tagged this restaurant on several occasions on my Facebook account, however it’s the principle that restaurants need to do right by the customers. Either way you look at it, it’s false advertisement to have you a person thinking they paying what’s on the menu then add extra money!!!! I like the food but it’s best I go some where else that’s honest and cares about African Americans patronizing their business. Also I ordered a medium size margarita and he charged 9.99. Most margaritas that size doesn’t cost that much. Hope everyone pays attention to the menu verses their bill.

This restaurant is authentic with so many variety of food on their menu. They had a lot of sea food on their menu. We got the agua Fresca de mango and Jamaica and we both loved it! The food as aesthetic pleasing as it looks, also turned out delicious. We were served by an amazing waitress. The vibe inside the restaurant is pretty neat and brought back high school memories to me. They have a bar and outdoor seating! Overall very nice restaurant.
