Good first: Dinner last week was great! The pork chop is the fantastic, service was good.
Bad, bad, bad: Returned today for lunch. No one was there when we arrived. Ordered a burger from the brunch menu. 35 mins later, received an overcooked burger, cold tater tots (like they were cooked 30 mins before we were served) and egg with runny, gooey white. Asked to have the tots warmed up (or fresh ones). Received our plates back 15 mins later, completely soggy, greasy, nasty.
Waitstaff/cooks in the back were having a party (not really, just SO loud) and no service at all. Asked the hotel desk if there was a manger available… and evidently they told the kitchen to quiet down.
One of the cooks literally walked out and FLIPPED US OFF. It was the first time I felt unsafe here – we left and hoped we weren’t going to get jumped. Scary business when you’re far from home & without any personal protection.
The supervisior did listen and comped our meal (which we didnt ask for), but it would be good for the kitchen to have some supervision on Sundays.

Had dinner and breakfast. Salmon was really good. Dessert was not good, they served a frozen chocolate mousse that was so hard I couldn’t even use a spoon to eat it, so I can’t comment on the taste of it.
Breakfast wasn’t as good. The pancakes were very thick and overcooked and scrambled eggs were overcooked. I did like the ricotta that came with the pancakes though.
Atmosphere is like a typical hotel restaurant. Servers are friendly and always seem busy moving around and could be a little more attentive.

Overall experience was good. Veggie omelet was reasonably priced (4-egg omelet that stayed hot throughout entire time we were seated, could use a little more seasoning but it tasted good nonetheless.), also had a cup of hot tea to start the day. Hubby had a breakfast sandwich. He complimented the bread and how fresh it tasted. Our waiter Matthew was a darling.

The chef met with us and prepared our dinner with great execution. Great, tasteful menu prepared well and served hot. Very enjoyable dinner. Service was slow at the start but we were warned about that by the team at the start so fair point. What a great dinner with a large party. Recommend trying the chef’s rum old fashioned. It’s fantastic.

Amazing food and service. Visited on 3/30/25. Great spot for a date night or family dinner. Ordered the Bistec Encebollado and Salmon de Vacaciones. The steak and salmon were cooked to perfection. Each entrée comes with a side. Recommend arroz mamposteao and tostones. The flan was also great.

Visited 10/30 for dinner and order halibut and fries & 10/31/24 ordered spinach wrap with eggs and four egg omelette. All the meals above were great. I was happy it was attached to our hotel didn’t have to fight for parking.

Flow was our server and she is a VIBE we loved her! She has such a great positive attitude. We got the Overnight Oats which were so good, sweetened with passion fruit & the French Toast; which was super dry and not moist/soft like I like it normally. But that couldn’t have just been a fluke. The diner is really clean and organized. Even the bathroom is nice. Coffee is great too!

got recommended to go here by our hotel – and so glad we did! certainly a gem the chef is amazing and very tentative with us in ensuring we had a great experience and clearly has passion/talent for cooking- we tried a lot of the menu our favorites were the octopus special, the pot pie, the truffle tater tots, the smash burger, and the rice/beans – cool take on various dishes with a Puerto Rican take/touch which we all loved it’s been hard to find a place we all like and like we were trying something new – not many people in there but they just opened a month ago and sure the place will be full soon! (only got picture of octopus because we ate the rest so fast) ( also wheel chair accessible! ) 🙂

Wow, this place was quite the surprise! We were a little skeptical initially as it had so few reviews but the food…was…INCREDIBLE! The portion of my chicken dish was huge and the flavor and texture were excellent. The whisky infused coco dessert was great too. Definitely one of the best restaurants on Ashford!
