I usually get my food to go or delivered but even in restaurant its always so fast. It’s tasty and they have some of the best queso I’ve had in years. I love the grande chicken quesadilla. Never had a bad meal here.

Nice place, good food. I thought the portions were a bit small, but the birria were great!

I love this restaurant’s chicken and beef tacos. This place has great service and excellent staff. The cook obviously cares a lot about how the food tastes, because it tasted excellent. I would definitely recommend trying this place out, if you haven’t.

Have been wanting to try this place out for awhile. We were seated quickly and the food also came out fast. The presentation and flavor of the meal were okay. I ordered enchiladas with shredded beef on top. The service was also okay. I guess I just wasn’t as impressed as I had hoped.

We visited around noon on a Friday. Very busy long wait to be seated. Once we were, we placed our order and it was very timely! I got the chili toreados (sautéed jalapeños) and nachos with carnitas and grilled onions. Y’all the food made up for the wait. Our waitress was very good!

I hadn’t been here in a couple years, but won’t make that mistake again. The queso is perfect and I enjoyed the salsa as well. So many unique menu items: Philly steak tacos, Hawaiian burritos, and birria tacos which my friend enjoyed. I went for the #22 chili rellano, burrito and taco. The sauces on top were unique to each of them and so good! Taco was standard, but delicious and hit the spot. I suggest adding sour cream. Best I’ve had in Mt. Juliet

Decided to pop in to El Comal for a late lunch on a weekday afternoon. We were immediately seated and served promptly, though our server clearly had a kind of “meh” mentality. Not a big deal, but I could see where a lack of outward friendliness would bother some patrons. He was on the ball, nonetheless. The food was fantastic (I went with the entomatadas, which really hit the mark with my expectations), and the décor was a nice change of pace from a typical Mexican restaurant you’d find in Middle Tennessee. I definitely recommend El Comal to lovers of Mexican food if you happen to be in the Mt. Juliet area.
