Service was exceptional. My drink was never empty, and everything was taken care of in a timely and professional way. The food was good too. I got lunch fajitas, and I was surprised by how much meat was on the plate. I wish they had been more generous with the guacamole and sour cream though. Only got about a tablespoon of each. They could have better tasting beans, too. There was no maillard on the meat either. It tasted good, but they could have bumped the heat a bit to sear it better. The atmosphere was pretty good, but the music kept dropping in and out. Seems like spotify must have been buffering. While that’s not their fault, it was super distracting.

We love this place. The staff is incredible every time, every interaction. The food is delicious, even the rice and beans, which are often an after thought at many Mexican spots. Highly recommend trying this one.

Went for lunch. Restaurant wasn’t very busy. Cold food, lousy service. Took quiet a while to order, then they delivered the wrong food 3 times for everyone at the table. Finally got our food and it was cold. I’m sure the food taste would have been better if it was hot. Finished the meal; then after asking for the check we waited 20 minutes before we got up and walked to the waiter stand and gave them cash and left. Staff here is lost. Could hear yelling in the kitchen.

We were pleasantly surprised at our first visit and have been just as pleased with every subsequent visit. The service is outstanding as is the food. Delicious and generously portioned! Staff is very friendly and professional too, always going the extra mile. The atmosphere is also inviting, and the restaurant and restrooms are always clean. Best in Birmingham!

I gave four stars for service because she didn’t give me my receipt. She made sure I signed to be sure it was paid but I need my copy! I love their food especially the fish tacos! I told her to tell the owner he needs to fix something that has been out of order since last year, and I wouldn’t put what it is in the review. It is something that a place that makes money should not leave unattended to when they always have a great deal of customers!

I went to pick up an order, when I got home, there was no sauce for the chips and the tacos barely had meat in them. I call, and the lady that took care of me caught an attitude and told me she had not put sauces intentionally. EVERYTIME she is there, I’m over charged and there’s a problem with my food. It’s so annoying, anywhere else I get a good meal for $12 but here.

Went here for the first time on Cinco de Mayo and had the worst experience we’ve ever had. Seated at 6:30 and left a little after 8 after eating only chips and salsa and a pitcher of margaritas. Food never arrived and the cheese dip we ordered was cold. This was a first for us…we have never left a restaurant like that before, but I had no confidence that our food would be warm if and when it arrived. The waitress was apologetic, but her attention was clearly focused on the 12 top next to us. We will NEVER go back there.
