Food was awesome as well as the service. My son ordered ceviche and it was to spicy for him. The owner noticed he wasn’t eating and got him a plate of shrimp that was not spicy. Definitely went above and beyond. The mango ceviche was delicious as well as the carne asada plate. The filete relleno was amazing. Best Mexican Seafood we’ve had in New Mexico. Again awesome food and service.

I ordered the ‘Trio Pirata’
$34.00
Ribeye steak, grilled shrimps and gratin oysters, served with chambray onion, jalapeño grilled, two quesadillas, and two sides of your choice (rice, salad, guacamole or french fries). The steak I ordered was cooked medium-rare to perfection, and the oysters were flavorful. It was filling, and enjoyable. We will be returning.

My husband took me here for my birthday and let me just say we were all impressed. I had told him that this is one of the places I wanted to visit since they had sushi.

In my head I thought I was just going to get sushi rolls but I was pleasantly surprised, they have a wide selection of dishes and I just had to get myself a molcajete and a sushi roll.

The staff was incredibly attentive and very sweet. They even apologized for not having music on because there were guests who wanted it to be quite. Once they turned the music on they made sure it was at a level we were happy with.

The presentation with each dish was stellar, and the taste was out of this world! The portion size was also excellent. The prices are a little up there but you are truly paying for quality food. All the ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order.

The owner was nice enough to comp our desserts since it was my birthday. We weren’t expecting that so it was definitely a lovely surprise. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough and we will be going again.

If you want something thats different and delicious I highly recommend going to this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed! One thing to keep in mind is that the location is a little small and since everything is fresh you will be waiting a bit to get you food, even more so if they are packed, but believe you me it is WELL WORTH IT!!

I rode to Roswell from NYC on my motorcycle. I expected nothing more than silly UFO stuff. After riding through a storm, I parked the bike and walked to El Coco Pirata. It was fantastic. The food was great. The waitress was exceptional, and the music was an unexpected pleasure. They had a guy playing guitar and singing, but also microphones were passed around to various tables and a beautiful chorus ensued. This was an unexpected treat after a long day. I had so much fun as I enjoyed a delicious meal. Everyone was super friendly. I highly recommend El Coco Pirata. I had the octopus. Yum! I only wish I had more time to try different items on the menu.

What can I say? This place is the best place to eat in Roswell and perhaps in the entire New Mexico. Let’s start by saying that the owner, Jorge, is an awesome human being who loves what he is doing. I hardly ever give 5 stars across the board, but they definitely deserve it. They make everything from scratch, and it’s made to order. I got to love this element. We tried about 5 different plates, and they were all delicious and full of flavor. Being a full-time traveler and trying different foods, I think this place is in the top 10. Let’s not forget about the staff, they are very professional from the servers to the kitchen staff. I won’t recommend anything but 1 thing, and that’s to try everything on the menu. We will definitely be back when traveling through town. Good luck to the entire team, and we wish you all the best until next time #BeeHippyLifestyle. Cesar, Dina, and Umma, the dog.

We went here for lunch because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. We ordered the fajitas with corn tortillas. It was doused in greasy cheese to the point we couldn’t pick out the meat. We have never had fajitas served with cheese let alone doused in it. While the restaurant is clean the atmosphere is more of a fast food mexican restaurant. Picutures from the other entrees looked alot more appetizing than our food. Unfortuately, we won’t be returning to try something different.

Finally a baja style restaurant that made us feel like we were on the beach. From the freshness of the fish to the decor, it was an escape for us. The food was amazing with more fish options than we could think of. It’s a good thing because the music in the background will make you want to jump up and dance. We highly recommend it.
