This is a fun and unique place to eat out. They serve quality homemade food with a traditional Mexican restaurant atmosphere. Food is fresh and made to order. They offer a full service bar a large variety menu with something for everyone. This restaurant has a small town at home, feel, and taste. Stop in if you love some fresh quality food and drinks.

Delicious food and great service! We stopped after a chilly fall hike in the Strawberries and the pollo ala crema warmed me right up. The chicken was so tender! The salsa was also delicious, I loved how fresh it was. The service was very friendly! We will definitely be back.

Lots of cozy atmosphere! Welcoming! When we entered, there was music playing. It wasnt too loud but makes it hard for my husband to hear so we were guided to a quiet booth and the waiter turned the volume down. A huge menu with at least 6 variations of nachos and many variations of burritos! Prime rib, vegan entries and salads were among the offerings. Hamburgers are served during the week. Service was friendly, attentive and fast! We waited 5 minutes max for our orders to arrive on piping hot plates! We ordered the Burrito Colorado and Flautas which came with a generous portion of guacamole and sour cream. Unfortunately we are just passing through Prairie City. If this restaurant was in our home town we would be returning often!

One plate can feed 2 people maybe even 3 so just be aware, it’s delicious though and the owner was very nice and service was fast!

The salsa is horrid.
I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the tostada I sent back, but it was a soup of grease and watery refried beans all along the bottom of the plate. It looked like throw up.
I asked for 2 shredded beef enchiladas as a replacement, and was brought this. This watery substance surrounding my “enchiladas” is terrifying. Last time I checked enchilada sauce is red. Not a weird light orange. Disgusting.
Thankfully my son’s taquitos were decent enough for him to eat.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It doesn’t matter that this is the only Mexican restaurant in town, go somewhere else.
