Home of Jerusalem Cuisine & Mexican Cuisine We serve both types of Cuisines everyday. We are half a block from 17th & R University parking. We serve a variety of Jerusalem Mediterranean foods; Hummus, Falafel, Baba Ghanouch, Gyro, Chicken & Beef Kabab plus some daily home made Mediterranean dinners. We also serve a verity of Authentic Mexican cuisine and have a five pages menu full of delicious and authentic dinners. We are two blocks from the University of Nebraska Students Union building & cross the street from the Phi Kappa Theta Building and surrounded by other Sorority buildings and Students apartment buildings. We are open 7 days a week 11:00AM – 9:00 PM.

My wife and I came in as they were opening Sunday morning. The owner was by himself but he served us and was extremely polite and gracious. He took the time to talk to us about our dietary preferences and helped us plan out what on the menu would work – and even offered some things off the menu! The food was excellent – my wife ordered a very common Mexican dish and it was the best preparation of it we’ve ever tried. We will be regulars!

This is becoming my favorite place for a quick bite! The food has so much flavor and is presented so beautifully. The staff is amazing and kind, the owner will always come talk if he has time. The restaurant is clean. My food is always served promptly. There is a wide variety of options. I suggest trying both the Jerusalem and Mexican cuisine.

Great place I was taught a great lesson at this restaurant. The owner is very kind and nobel. I was mistaken because I noticed the owner was not Mexican and I assumed the food wasn’t going to be authentic. The owner was kind enough to give me tacos free of charge to try them because he noticed my hesitant to try them. I couldn’t have been more wrong the tacos were amazing and it really showed me not to judge a book by its cover. Above all he is a chef and it doesn’t matter what nationality you are if you love cooking and have a passion you can achieve anything. This man has showed me a great lesson. I recommend this place to anyone that is wanting real authentic Mexican food.

The good reviews are either old or fake. Worst meal I’ve ever had. No pork of any kind, no alcohol, no margaritas. The beans had a sour taste and were cold. The shredded beef was gelatinous. I couldn’t eat the meal. Was so looking forward to great Mexican food. Now I’ll be grateful if I don’t get sick. PS we were a family of three adults and a child. They forgot the childs meal. Very nice people! The food,however, was quite lacking in flavor. Very bland and lacked seasoning. I had the enchiladas. Just disappointed given all the positive reviews; I have a feeling not everybody truly knows good Mexican cuisine. Would not recommend.

We were just passing through and stopped at El Cielito. They have great chips and salsa and amazing shrimp ceviche made fresh! Best, most authentic street tacos I’ve eaten! We’re definitely coming back.
