The cheese bread, and grilled cheese with honey were also delicious and complemented the meats perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.
The service was excellent. The staff was extremely kind and patient. There were only two people working, so they were very backed up, but they apologized multiple times for the wait, which was truly appreciated.
Even with the wait, the food was more than worth it. The flavors were outstanding, and I will absolutely be coming back for that platter again!
Additionally, the food took an excessively long time to be prepared, and the policy of not allowing any changes once an order is placed is unreasonable. As someone who is strongly against food waste, I believe it is more customer-friendly to accommodate simple modifications or, at the very least, offer alternative solutions. I ended up cancelling my order and going somewhere else.
Overall, this location has significant room for improvement in both customer service and operational practices. I would not recommend spending your time there until these issues are addressed.
Group of 8 people.
Super slow,,, food has no taste no season.
They don’t have ice for your drinks.
All the drinks where hot also.
Medium & Well done term it’s still rare bloody dripping off the plate.
You seat outside under the sun, no / minimum cover for the heat sun & rain.
Better go to El Pilón Miami Next Door!!!
Second time- mediocre service, decent food, atmosphere not pleasant and loud.
Third time- meats served at wrong temperature. The half the churrasco was raw (blue) and the other medium well (requested for medium). We waited 1 hour before getting appetizers and it was incomplete. 30 min later we had our full appetizer order (took 1.5hrs to get all appetizers served). The main dish took another 45 minutes.
The owner came to respond. A very arrogant and poor restaurant knowledged middle age man spoke with us. He did not admit any fault. I told him the deficiencies he had and that he had lost control of the restaurant and orders.
He did provide a nice 30% discount, but likely appropriate since we did not eat about 30% of the meat. He said that we should of worked together and we should of notified him to cook the churrasco more- in what world? If the restaurant specializes in meat- I dont need to negotiate how to cook the meat. I go to eat not work.
Overall, I think this is an up and coming restaurant trying to balance staffing and skill at the expense of the consumer. It seems to be in its experimental phase. You can try at your own risk, and any messups, just ask for a steep discount (the bill was discounted over 120$).
I told him we would write a review on you tube and he encouraged it. Here it is.
