Today we stopped in to this little cutie of a place for dinner with the fam.
It was delicious! We started with the mussels & those were delicious. Then we among the 6 of us ordered 4 plates and still had leftovers! Our server was so kind and funny. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The BEST Lomo Saltado I’ve Ever Had!

I’m a self-proclaimed connoisseur of Lomo Saltado — it’s my favorite dish, and I go out of my way to try it at every Peruvian restaurant I find. This place absolutely blew me away.

At first glance, I thought it might be a little dry since there wasn’t much sauce, but one bite in and I was hooked. The meat was perfectly cooked, so tender and full of rich, savory flavor, with just the right amount of juice soaking into the fries and rice. It was pure perfection — easily the best Lomo Saltado I’ve ever tasted.

The restaurant itself is adorable, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff couldn’t be sweeter. You can tell they really care about the food and their guests. I’m honestly tempted to come back tomorrow just to have it again — or maybe bring my grandchild and explore more of their amazing Peruvian dishes.

Do yourself a favor and try this place — you’ll thank me later!

Delicious! Stumbled on this restaurant at lunchtime and was happy that I did. Their Lomo Saltado was authentically flavored with wonderful presentation. Grabbed an Inca Cola to go with it. If you’ve never had Peruvian food, or you have and you want a great experience. Come here!

Oh my goodness, THIS PLACE. It is amazing.. Wonderful, outstanding food. Outstanding environment, and amazing staff. We had a party of 8 and they were ready for us when we showed up. The food was out in a timely fashion and service was impeccable. We were celebrating three August 2025 family birthdays and they did not disappoint. All meals were fresh and hot and my family LOVED everything. Please do yourself a favor and give this place a try. We got anticuchos, yuca frita, pollo saltado, lomo saltado.. the fried fish, a hot dog kids meal and my favorite- the pulpo. Also my favorite- their alfajores are the stuff dreams are made of when you can’t go to Peru. If (like us) you are used to a different type of yuca, just ask for the chimichurri sauce to dip it in. It’s great . It’s all amazing and we loved every part of our experience. (Clean bathrooms and dining area, etc.) It’s loud- don’t expect a quiet dining experience. Can’t beat the food, though!! Also- we shut the place down- it was super busy when we first arrived . And we got to share in this very nice random stranger’s birthday as well.

The staff were very kind and warm. It was our first time having Peruvian food and they gave us some great recommendations. The highlight of the night was watching the staff celebrate a guest’s birthday.

Great food and service all around. Very welcoming environment and very clean. I got the pescado a lo macho and it was honestly better than I expected. Support local business and try different cultures and you won’t be disappointed!

Food was awesome, anticuchos were perfect med/rare, $2 off great coctails for happy hour, ceviche was great, arroz con mariscos and arroz con pollo were super tasty and enough to take to go in foil pan that makes toaster oven reheat great! Friendly staff, quiet enough atmosphere, clean facilities, and a lovely place reminiscent of my Peru travels!

I haven’t even left my seat yet. Have to write this review. The food is beyond delicious. I ordered the lunch special which is a chicken, rice and onion. The chicken meat slid off the bone. Off-the-bone! Amazing marinated. I’m VERY IMPRESSED.

My server is a native Peruvian and gave me great hospitality like no other restaurant.

Paid less than $20 even with tax. I will be back!!

I stopped by El Chullo for the first time to try Peruvian seafood, and I’m so glad I did. I started off with a chicha morada drink. This is a traditional Peruvian drink made from purple corn and while I was a little nervous trying something new, it ended up being absolutely delicious.

For lunch, I ordered the ceviche mixto, and WOW! I was blown away. The dish had shrimp, octopus, fish, and clams, all soaked in the perfect leche de tigre. It was fresh, flavorful, and had just the right amount of kick. I legit cleared the plate.

Trying a new type of cuisine can be a little intimidating at first, but this experience was nothing short of amazing. If you’ve never had Peruvian food before, or you’re looking to switch things up and try something different, I highly recommend El Chullo. I’ll definitely be back!
