I struggle to find anything about this food that makes it worth the premium price. It is at best average Mexican food. The rice is a bit dry, the meat is also dry and without any great flavor. You’re talking 60 bucks for two people… It’s just not that good, nowhere near it. They ALWAYS forget something, it’s actually hilarious. But really if any decent Mexican place went up and weren’t so greedy and made half as good food, it would put this place out of business in a manner of weeks. I think the owners understand where they are (North Shore) if you know what I mean. But that’s the other thing about Syosset/Oyster Bay, the food is mostly trash (compared to Huntington Village for example) so there is no competition for good food like there is in Huntington.

This was the absolute WORST Mexican food I’ve had, absolutely disgusting inside, sticky tables, floor was dirty etc.. my co worker and I ordered steak quesadillas and as you can see in the picture, it was awful, real low quality ingredients, EXTREMELY Greasy, the chips they gave us with the food were also stale to the point that they didn’t even taste like chips. we both had a couple bites and threw it in the trash where it belongs, I will definitely not be going back ever. This was a HORRIBLE experience.

My co-worker and I decided to give them a shot and boy did we regret it. I ordered the Hickory Burger with Fries and when it arrived the bread was soggy and stuck to the aluminum foil it was wrapped in. The French Fries were also soggy and wet. The first 4 bites of the Hamburger was deceit, until I noticed the meat in the middle of the burger was raw and bright pink. I ordered the burger medium well and this was definitely not medium well. I was furious and now worried I would get sick; I called them and informed them that once I got to the middle of the burger, it was raw and not edible. The woman on the phone rudely told me that, “That’s what you ordered, but I can send you another one.” At this point I was not interested in eating anything else from there. I requested a refund. The woman then hung up on me and my supervisor called because she saw the burger and was upset for me. The women then agreed with my supervisor and said they would bring me refund for my burger. It took them an hour and half to bring me my refund. I gave the gentleman the burger and told him, the first couple bites were fine and then the middle was uncooked. He nodded in agreement as he looked at the remaining burger, his head handed me my refund and walked out. About 10 minutes later the same woman who has hung up on me prior called my office and proceeded to be the most unprofessional person I’ve ever spoken to in the food industry. She argued that the burger was bitten into and a refund should not have been issued. She also then proceeded to be nasty and rude until she hung up on me again. I would never order from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. My co-worker had ordered a Burrito which made her stomach sick within an hour of eating it. They should be ashamed of themselves and the customer service they provide. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Ordered fajitas from them for the first time. On their menu, it doesn’t list it has sour cream. When I called back to tell them I’m lactose intolerant and asked for a new order since it’s not mentioned on the menu (in the fajitas section), they argued with me said I’m forced to take it as is. I attempted to eat what I could around it but the food was bland and try. Therefore, they don’t even deserve a 1 star for poor service and poor quality.

I live right near this restaurant and had never tried it, I finally decided to and I was truly disappointed. The food was cold somehow after I picked it up (I drove 2 min to get it), and honestly it tasted horrible, and left me with a huge stomach ache. I usually never spit out food but I did at least 3 times throughout tryna eat the food. I also caught the guy try to charge me extra for some of the the things I ordered, which made me even more upset.

Today is 11/1/2017. I order food from here once in a while cause it’s the closest “spanish” food I can find out here in syosset by my job. I either get the chicken burrito bowl lunch special or the steak and once in a blue moon the tostones. The food gets a 5 star. Ttoday though I’m leaving a 2 star review because it’s better than driving and wasting gas go get my money back. They charged me $7.95 for a SMALL order of tostones. On their menu it cost $5.95 and the large cost $8.95. So where did the $7.95 price come from? Either way, make sure you’re being charged for what you order here. I usually never check or even keep the receipt but something told me to keep it and double check if I was being charged correctly. So customers be cautious, good food but sketchy charging.

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time our company orders food from this place, they always mess up the food orders and on top of that give us such a big attitude!! Never fix the issues and have a big EGO god knows for what!!!! We gave them business by ordering food for 40 people and they delivered food after 2 hrs and even then, they messed up some people’s orders and also forgot about 2 people’s orders altogether. When called they at first said they sent it, we didn’t check properly, then they guy said that they didn’t realize and didn’t charge us, even started yelling at us saying Look at Your RECEIPT, meanwhile he had charged us for those. And even said to deliver those 2 orders they will charge separate. The guy went screaming over the phone and wouldn’t stop and listen. What kind of hospitality is that?? NEVER EVER ORDER FOOD FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A decent little Mexican joint in downtown Syosset. Great place to grab lunch if you work in the area, or have some down time waiting for the train (which is down the street).
Their salads are a little pricey (~$14) but very much worth it; the Mandarin Avocado salad and Grande Taco salads are my favorites, both well portioned and great with their fantastic Ranch Avocado dressing.

Food tasted amazing a very fresh. Portions are a good size. The chorizo isnt processed or typically manufactured. It is fresh and very flavorful. Will definitely be going here more often.

My husband and I got and Mar y Tierra Burrito bowl and a Bahamas burrito bowl. So delicious and very thankful for them driving in the snow to deliver. Oh and their mango guac and chips was a great snack.
