This was our first visit, and we found the food to be excellent. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the staff was genuinely friendly and attentive. The house-made chips were delicious, and the pico de gallo was fantastic, as shown in the picture LoL! Overall, it’s a great place to eat in the quiet town of Soquel. We’ll definitely be back.

I am rating 5 stars for the food but the atmosphere is definitely nothing special. I had a huarache because it came with cactus and I wanted to try that. It was a lot of food, covered with lots of delicious sauce. The carnitas meat was delicious with some pieces fried crispy. The menu had many more interesting choices than other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. We will definitely be going back!

Absolutely delicious! Got a Togo order of 3 tacos with rice and beans for myself and I every part of my plate was perfect. Can’t decide if I liked the carne asada or carnitas better. I got my husband a vegetarian breakfast burrito and he his co worker a shredded beef breakfast burrito and they both loved their burritos. I highly recommend and will be back!

Small place for a flavorful meal. We met friends for an early lunch. They were able to accomodate a large group. The food came out a few plates at a time. I shared a super burrito with carnitas. It was flavorful, good texture. The salsas have a good kick. The others enjoyed their meal and were surprised to find a good restaurant. Service was nice and efficient. This time we ordered 2 plates of birria and alambre. The textures were nice as well as the flavor. The chips are always fun as well as the margarita.

Good food, but the building is frigid! We had to move tables due to a draft and we were still quite cold, with our jackets zipped up all the way. Service was efficient but also lacked warmth. Maybe I’ll try it again during a warmer month or limit myself to take out orders, but it’s uncomfortably cold inside for dine-in right now.

Oh my gosh, make sure if you’re in Santa Cruz that you go a few blocks off the beach and try El Chipotle. The food is amazingly delicious. The service was outstanding. We had vegetarian tacos and a carne asada burrito, so wonderful. The range of salsas is crazy and they were muy rico.

Food is good place is very busy. Interesting place, older couple waiting on tables and taking the orders while a young girl and guy are cooking?
They are doing something right to keep busy here. not too friendly but pretty fast serving, plenty of seating for how small the place is.
Don’t expect great service the high stars are from good food.
Small busy street but plenty of parking in the rear.
Burrito was only $6.99 but more than enough for lunch.
