It looked like a ghostly place. Completely dark inside, no windows, it looks like an abandoned site. It’s scary to go in, and in the condition it’s in, you go once and never return. The food didn’t look good either — the meat looked strange. It’s sad that it has the Puerto Rican flag. It doesn’t represent me as a Boricua. If they can’t fix it, they should just close it or represent another place. I would give it 0 stars.

They didn’t have much of a selection, just pork and rice/beans. But, whatever they had there was very good, large amount and dairy priced. They even made some plantain for me while I waited. I’ll drop by here again when passing by on Semoran.

I ordered 1 pound of lechón an 1 large arroz con gandules. The lechón was unbeatable, nasty, tasted like left overs warmed up in the microwave but with no seasoning flavor, every single piece was dry, the flavor was 0/10, it was so bad that it left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth, I didn’t even taste seasoning whatsoever but a nasty meat flavor. The rice was not bad, 5 or 6 out of 10.

The morcilla was cold and when I told the girl that it was cold she shrugged her shoulders like oh well. This place is just a hangout not a restaurant they should not sell food if it’s not going to be done right. By the time I got home I had a stomach ache and threw everything up. And it was expensive on top of if my husband wasn’t paying attention she would have charged us more for the morcilla we asked for half a pound and she was trying to charge us for the full pound. Pay attention please.

I went to have dinner and when I arrived, it’s a shady area there was a guy cooking outside with food out in the hot weather and not a refrigeration. I left it like a bat out of house. I would not recommend this place does not work clean or sanitize. They shouldn’t be allowed to be open, walked in and walked right out

During our visit on the weekend at night they had live music and is a good atmosphere but the girls that prepared the drinks needs a bartender course. They didn’t know how to prepare the drinks. The area to buy drinks is super small, have seats and was too crowded and you don’t have space to go to buy a drink. The place is super hot.

I came because the name of the place caught my attention. The cold rice, the cold steak, they didn’t have bottled water and they didn’t have mofongo either, the sweet potato was old and tasted horrible and the blood sausage was very spicy. It was tremendously hot and the tables dirty. I do not recommend a place in PR without mofongo, it is not.
