I give them a 4 overall solely for the service. The front staff was very patient with me as I ordered and explained everything. She even called back to clarify a few things to ensure my order was made right!
The food itself was decent. Tasty but a bit expensive. Might come back again if I’m in the area.

Ordered one of the Pollo and one Birria taco. The birria had just the right spice, the chicken was good, and the onion and cilantro were really fresh. The food was authentic as you should expect from a little place like this. There were a couple parting surprises in the birria but if you’re not an animal you should be safe.
I wanted to try this place because I pass by it on my way home, now I can say I did. Will I go back, probably not, Santa Ana has too many places to give a chance.

The menudo was great. Remember to ask for “grano or maíz”, if not, you’ll only get the meat. The staff was friendly and helpful with questions. The establishment is a little dated and not the cleanest, but overall, I had a wonderful breakfast experience.

I love coming here. I been a costumer for 20 years. Love the food and las jericallas y flanes.

Awesome customer service… food looks great and very authentic Mexican food… by the way Mexico does not use Sriracha as a chili.

I ordered the birria con consomé. When I got my plate, it had a little bit of meat and the meat did not have flavor. The consomé was also very salty. I’m writing this because I paid $20 for a meal but yet I walk out of this restaurant hungry and dissatisfied. Go somewhere else for Birria.

Family owned and the kindest people running this business. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is no frills but super clean. I had the sopes. My husband had a barbocoa burrito and my son had chicaron in Chile verde. He said the rice and beans were delicious. We will go back. Prices are reasonable

The sweetest people, but the smallest $15 del taco sized quesadilla I’ve ever had… sorry nope for me. All for a local food spot but dang i literally had to eat another meal 10 minutes after this

Food and prices are on par with most of the good mom and pop Mexican quick dinning restaurants (Order at the counter and they bring it to you).
Average burrito is $8. Plates with rice and beans $11 – $14. Drinks sold by the can or bottle. I didn’t see any beer in the fridge, but don’t hold me to it. I wasn’t looking for a beer at lunch, but there’s a liquor store adjacent. It’s the friendly service that got them a fourth star. I went with some Spanish only speaking friends and they thought it was good, if that adds anything to the review for you.
