Social Profile:

Two friends, who both happen to be successful local restaurant owners, took a trip to Mexico City. While there they studied the local cuisine and wanted to bring more of that culture back to their hometown of Stockton, Ca. The vibe of this restaurant is for customers to grab an authentic homemade meal, enjoy the delicious flavors, and bring to town a culture it has not yet experienced. Here you can order tacos de guisado with rice or black beans and your choice or potatoes, napales or pico. Costilla, chile rojo, rajas with creme, mole verde, chicharron presado, cochinita pibil, alambre and more. Make sure to save room for dessert and taste a churro donut, mangology, sweet & tangy mango, watermelon, jicama, and cucumbers with chamoy, tajin

Tito had excellent customer service. We got a little history In-Site on his family history of the idea for the menu it was very slow so my husband & I had one on one conversation with Tito it was cool they are mindful of possible customers food allergies & the food is not to spicy. I love Tinga I make it at home didn’t order for my son just in case it was to spicy so got him 2 tacos . My husband ordered the Tinga he said, ” it’s like the one I make not spicy for the kids” so that’s good to know. Got mine & my son hair cut at Toco Davino then came here to eat. I had the Móle IT WAS SO YUMMY & im passionnet about my nopales there’s hot is very tasty. There table salsa with chips my son was able to eat it he loved it. And soup as a appetizer was yummy EVERYTHING WAS YUMMY. I need to come back and try there burrito. There was just 1 thing next time I’ll substitute the rice for more nopales or potatoes because the rice was not red Spanish rice. Don’t get me wrong the rice was good had like a lime cilantro vibe flavor to it with a pilaf kind of texture but I prefer the red rice ♥️. Over all yes was 5⭐’s. For the 3 of us spent $53 plus tip.

The best shrimp taco I’ve ever had ( this includes traveling all over Mexico). All of the tacos were delicious, as was the steak ranchero. Chips and salsa also tasty. My girlfriend had a Cesar salad which was very good. Everything also looks impressive. Very “instagram able.”Thankfully, I was able to try this place while I was visiting Stockton over the thanksgiving holiday. My mom lives nearby and took us here. I believe the owner or chef is from Mexico City. They are very good at what they do!

First dining experience here and it was fabulous! I love Mexican food, and this restaurant has authentic dishes that you don’t find in the usual Mexican restaurants around town. We wanted to get a variety of meats since it was our first visit. Hubby opted to get the 5 taco appetizer (chef’s choice). Each taco was served street style, with ample protein, and some with black beans and rice. Each one had a distinct flavor, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delightful. The meats were rich, not too spicy. He also had the cochinita pibil, Yucatan style braised pork served with rice and beans, AND homemade flour tortillas (love them!). I had 3 tacos – fried fish, chicarrone presando, and carnitas… delicious!!! We closed the meal with fried churro donuts – the perfect ending. The servers were very friendly and helpful with the menu. This restaurant is a collaboration between Cocoro Japanese Bistro and Don Luis, and is a true gem in Stockton’s Miracle Mile. We love this place and look forward to our next visit. Do yourself a favor, and drop by. You certainly won’t regret it!

Super super super good! Definitely recommend! Friendly people. I asked the recommendation between a burrito and chelaquiles and as you can see not only it looks good. Damn it’s good. Please try this place. I can’t wait to try the other selections!

Delicious flavors and good environment. El Chilango Chido is a great addition to the Mile. I highly recommend giving it a try. There are some different flavors then you might expect, but great taste nonetheless. I suggest trying the street fried fish taco. I don’t usually get it and I was skeptical with the higher price. But I am happy I ordered it. The portion size was worth it and the flavor was amazing. I will definitely return soon to try their other dishes.
