Our server was fantastic!!! She brought out a custom plate for my husband to try. It was his first time here. We were visiting from Canada (I’m a Tulsa native) and this was his favorite stop!

I always love ElChico but today was just ok, the tortilla soup was really rich and not soupy, idk and they forgot our relish, and that’s one of the main reasons I go, I will go again, prolly just an off day because of the snow.

I love El Chico and was excited to find that we had one in Tulsa. There food was great, love the salsa too! I gave it 4 stars only because our waitress didn’t bring us the set up of tortillas, chips, salsa and relish like the other wait staff was doing, we had to ask and she come around to check on us when we needed refills. They did have a Now Hiring sign on door so it may be that they were short staffed.

Absolutely amazing! Crystal, our waitress, was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. On top of everything and so kind and outgoing. Food has always been amazing. Definitely going to be our spot from now on especially if Crystal is working!

We visited the 71 street El Chico’s location this evening and were seated right away. We were promptly greeted by Crystal, she gave us chips and salsa and was ready to take our drink order. We ordered right after our drinks came, our appetizer and food came in a timely manner and both were delicious. Our service from Crystal was excellent. She kept our drinks full and refills on our chips and salsa full as well. Thank you for taking good care of your guests!

had lunch with my mom and a friend, amazing service from Steven, our server. had about 3 margaritas, minding our own business, we were not loud and didn’t give off any impression we were at all too intoxicated, having a water in between each drink, and the manager, Stephanie Todd, made us feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed, making us feel like we were crazy drunk. kept staring at us, having other employees keep an eye on us, following our server to our table every time he would come over to talk to us, doing as much as following me to the bathroom at one point. our server had interacted with us the whole time we were there and had even said we were okay and he had told her we were not even drunk. this was our last time ever going to this location because of this profiling from the “manager”. very disappointed and speaking from someone who is in food & beverage, she should probably learn how to identify an intoxicated person without making them feel uncomfortable and weirded out. if you’re thinking about eating here make sure you don’t look too happy or enjoy yourself at all, or else Stephanie Todd will be on your case.

I’ve been eating at ElChicos since the 1980s and today I really enjoyed my visit. My food was good and the enchilada, tamale and friholes really stood out. The best thing about our visit was the service. Peggy was the epitome of an excellent waitress: her friendliness, knowledge about our order, and her prompt attention were all on point in serving us. Thank you Peggy.

Don’t call in your order, just place it there. I called in and said 3x, corn tortillas with relish. I arrived, she very kindly gave me my order but then left the area. No relish. So I sat there and ate a taco and waited. I finally told a girl I had a question. She turned her back and took a personal call. When she brought the relish she condescended, “Sorry we overlooked the little container.”
The problem was waiting and waiting to complete the order while the food cooled. I usually tip well but her rudeness lost it.
The food was outstanding!! I’ll be back but will place my take out orders when I get there and try to avoid the rude girl, obviously.
Kudos to the chef Sunday night. The bartender was very nice, just busy.
