Haven’t ate here in a very long time. This was a very nice , enjoyable experience! Restaurant was clean & not too busy when we stopped by. We were greeted by an older guy, whom I assume was a host/hostess or manager. He was very polite & accommodating as he seated us & made sure we had everything as our waitress took our drink orders. Our food came out pretty fast & everything smelt & tasted great! As we departed, the host thanked us & invited us back. He made the service experience there better than any other restaurant we’ve been to lately. We would definitely stop by here again for dinner especially with the movie theater behind them, making it a nice date night out.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated. 10 more minutes for drink order. Chips shortly after and 10 minutes for drinks. 10 minutes for order to be taken and 40 minutes for food. The food was barely warm and the beans were congealed. It was apparent the location was short staffed. Our waiter was also working the bar, he was really hustling. He wasn’t the problem. Not first choice for people on their lunch hour.

Manager very professional our server was trash, she walked by us 4 times never said a word. In short she said on the fifth passing I will be back, not a sorry for the wait can I get you chips salsa nope. When she came back 10 minutes later from the kitchen with the chips and salsa no drinks still I asked her to replace the chips as they were really crispy. The waitress said they are fine, well they made it easier for this retired Chef to go down the street to EL PASO Mexican restaurant they always have exceptional service and they didn’t again disappoint

The did was good but not as good as we’ve had at other Mexican restaurants. The waitress was nice but we had to ask for straws, and then napkins, and then utensils after we’d gotten our food. She brought us more chips upon request, but no salsa. ♀️ The atmosphere is casual. I noticed employees kept busy keeping the restaurant clean. The restroom was clean as well!

Skip it. Food bad. There was an alarm dinging for a mobile delivery order going off for at least 15 min. When we asked about the very loud alarm they said, it’s a mobile pickup order and walked off. I went to the bathroom because it was loud and I had a headache. 5 min later another person came by, and the table next to us asked about it and she said the same thing. She too was about to walk away, but then asked if it was bothering them and everyone around that table including us said YES! She turned it off but that was ridiculous.
Food was terrible, so for the love of God, don’t make a in person visit and definitely don’t place a mobile order. Care for your fellow man.

Our Waitress was Amber. Very nice girl. Very patient with us as we’ve never been to El Chico’s before. Refills were prompt. My mother was in love with her food. Shrimp Tacos could have been a little better. Chips and salsa were crispy and thin; just the way I like it. My only complaint was the cup of queso. Seemed like $5 just for that little thing. I’ll likely stick with just salsa next time.
We will definitely visit again.
4.26.19 – we came again for like the 4th now. Amber was our waitress again. She is very lovable and was never unkind in any way. I even heard another table complimenting her. Will surely return again someday.

The food was horrible. Our server, Derrick was great! The atmosphere was weird. It feels more like a Golden Corral than a Mexican restaurant. I did order a fireball margarita. I had never heard of that and it was delicious.
